Job Summary

Job Summary We are looking for a Pet Sitter who is active and passionate about pets. A pet sitter goes to client’s home to exercise, love and clean up after pets. We are looking for a full-time pet sitter in the Sandy Springs area.
Responsibilities and Duties
<ul>
<li>Pet Sitting: &nbsp;Walking and exercising dogs daily even if it is raining or hot outside, feeding and picking up after the dogs. Cat Sitting loving on cats, medication if needed and cleaning litter boxes.</li>
<li>Day to Day: &nbsp;We offer pet sitting in the morning, midday, evening, and late night. Our clients prefer one sitter to take care of their pets while they are traveling which means our sitters make multiple visits from 30 minutes to 60 minutes to client’s homes daily. We communicate with our clients through a mobile app to ensure quality service.</li>
<li>Independent Contractor: We are looking for an Independent Contractor who meet with the clients to get instructions from the client on their personal pet care. You will get your schedule as client’s book online and you can select your availability to work. &nbsp;Visit times range from 30-60 minute per client requests. A pet sitter will travel 10-15 minutes to each clients home.</li>

Qualifications and Skills
<ul>
<li>Passion for animals</li>
<li>Compassion, patience, and reliability</li>
<li>Available to work Monday - Friday from 11:00am-2:30pm</li>
<li>Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Capable of handling all sizes of canines from small to large</li>
<li>The ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend, or reach</li>
<li>The ability to lift up to 15 pounds</li>
<li>Attention to detail is extremely important&nbsp;</li>
<li>You need to have good communication skills</li>
<li>Reliable car and a valid driver's license</li>
<li>Must live within 5 miles of&nbsp;Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs or Dunwoody</li>

 Here is what we ask you to do:
In the hours that you are available, you will be asked to travel to the clients home and take care of all the needs of the pets. You will also be responsible for feeding, walking, medication administration, litter scooping, accident clean-up, and owner-updates) We will need you to be prompt in your communication to office management and other team members.&nbsp; Did I mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too? For many of our staff, they say it is the best job ever! (see below for more on that)
 Some basic job requirements:
<ul>
<li>Over 21&nbsp;years of age</li>
<li>Able to pass a background check</li>
<li>Local full-time resident of Northwest Indiana (must reside within our service area zip codes)</li>
<li>Able to receive regular paychecks</li>
<li>Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire</li>
<li>Available for 7+ hours / week (you may work less or more than that)&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
How Much Can I Make?
Our pet sitters are currently making between $12-17 hourly (wages &amp; travel pay) while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week!&nbsp; Our staff say that it is the "best job ever" and one current employee says, "It's my therapy from my other job!"
