GENERAL SUMMARY

• Remains calm during challenging member interactions and escalate such situations as appropriate.

Job Description:
To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.
Experience
<ul>
<li>1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handling, customer service</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email</li>
<li>Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans</li>
<li>Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications</li>
<li>Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services</li>
<li>Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration</li>
<li>Perform platform banking functions</li>
<li>Assist level I team members</li>
<li>Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services</li>
<li>May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures</li>

Hours:&nbsp;full-time 40hr work week - MUST be available for shift to fluctuate between the hours of&nbsp;Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:00pm.&nbsp;Could be expected to work 2-4 Saturdays a month depending on business need. When scheduled short shift on saturday, you will have time off throughout the week to balance your 40hrs - Schedule provided 2 weeks in advance.

Job Summary
National Bank of Coxsackie is looking for individuals with strong mathematical skills who enjoy interacting with customers. A Teller is responsible for conducting customer transactions behind the teller line while delivering outstanding customer service. They will be responsible for answering the phones at the Branch and properly maintaining their drawer throughout the day. Initially, a teller will need to be available to work at any of our branch locations until being permanently placed.
The general responsibilities of the position, which are all completed within the framework of Bank policies and procedures, are:
<ul>
<li>Handle all normal teller duties and customer transactions. Example: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account questions, etc;</li>
<li>Properly respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and/or bank products;</li>
<li>Maintain money supply at window in accordance with accepted dollar levels;</li>
<li>Overtime, learn to scan and encode their work daily;</li>
<li>With experience, fill-in for Head Teller absences;</li>
<li>Handle various assigned functions behind the teller line;</li>
<li>Assignment at any of our 8 branch locations;</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service;</li>
<li>Any other duties deemed necessary by management;</li>
<li>You will be required to work a minimum of two - three Saturdays per month or as needed.</li>
</ul>
Background Requirements
<ul>
<li>High-School diploma or equivalent educational background;</li>
<li>Strong mathematical skills;</li>
<li>Cash handling and customer service experience preferred;</li>
<li>Outgoing personality;</li>
