RECEIVER
1st Shift: M-F (7am – 3:30pm)

The Receiver performs operations required for inbound materials and products. The responsibility for inbound is to receive raw materials from vendors and/or ship completed items to customers. Such duties include receiving bulk and non-bulk raw material, check-in, store, or move incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and maintain proper receiving records. For outbound materials, ensure proper packaging, labeling and placement of product for pick up and movement of items to correct transport vehicle.
 
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Receive and check-in materials using scanners.</li>
<li>Unload semi-trucks using sit down forklifts and /or hand jacks.</li>
<li>Unload bulk tankers ensuring hoses are properly connected and stored properly.</li>
<li>Check incoming materials and supplies against Purchase Order or other documentation.</li>
<li>Gather, sort, and prepare skids, drums, etc. for return or storage.</li>
<li>Complete proper documentation correctly and accurately. Enter data into computer.</li>
<li>Clean up and safely store equipment used. Follow all 6S clean-up and housekeeping procedures.</li>
<li>Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your supervisor or Manager.</li>
</ul>
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Education level preferred: a high school diploma and/or GED.</li>
<li>One to three years of work experience preferred and in a related field required.</li>
<li>Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP system, and other office machinery.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.</li>
<li>Forklift Certification is strongly preferred and Hazmat certifications (training will be provided).</li>
<li>Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.</li>
<li>Clean work habits and skill in handling large volumes of liquid or powder and raw materials.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the metric system, advanced math skills (specifically multiplication and division), and the ability to convert various measurements required.</li>
<li>Ability to use the following tools preferred: Forklifts (sit down, stand-up and walk behind), freight elevator, drum grabbers, drum trucks, scales, gauges, wrenches, and ladders.</li>

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and/or hear, stand, and/or walk, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects or controls and move from place to place. The employee is regularly required to sit, balance, stoop, and occasionally reach above shoulders. The employee occasionally must use foot/feet to operate machinery, climb or balance and reach above the shoulders. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 65 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Personal Protection Equipment is required during various processes in the production area. Safety shoes, glasses, and flame-retardant uniforms are required in the production area. Respirators and ear plugs may be required when performing certain production activities.

Position Summary: The Receiver II is responsible for the timely and accurate unloading of trucks, receipt, verification, and delivery of materials to the appropriate location. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Accurately receive items into inventory via Oracle EBS. Identify incorrect inbound material and work with appropriate parties to resolve.</li>
<li>Send follow up emails to Buyers to clear Receiving Crashes and systematically receive material that requires 3 or more sequential and/or follow up Oracle transactions.</li>
<li>Accurately and properly secure correct pallet and/or package labels and "Move To Stock" labels in correct sequence. Accurately record information such as item number, lot number, quantity, number of packages, etc. with 100% accuracy when verify orders.</li>

Airport Drayage Company Inc., (ADC) is a local airfreight pickup, transport, and delivery-company with a presence in the Pacific Northwest since 1959. Family owned and operated, ADC is currently operating with approx. 50 employees, 50 Tractors/Straight trucks (NEWER AND WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLES!) with terminals in Portland, OR (Hq.), Salem, OR, and Tumwater, WA.
Job Purpose: Picks, transports and delivers palletized freight by operating a straight truck. An average day will normally require 8 to 20 stops depending upon distance between points.
Shift: Starting time: 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. RETURN HOME DAILY
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use.</li>
<li>Ensures correct loading of vehicle by loading product or material.</li>
<li>Maintains safe vehicle operation and protects load by complying with organizational policies and procedures, highway rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Utilizes Material handling equipment (forklift, pallet-jack, dolly and hand-truck) and uses packaging supplies as needed to protect cargo.</li>
<li>Maintains records by conscientious operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and Electronic DVIR, obtaining shipper and receiver authorizations and managing and notating other related paperwork.</li>
<li>Supports and contributes to the company's overall safety program.</li>
<li>Continually strives and is committed to self-improvement as a transportation professional.</li>
<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing individual results as assigned and assists other drivers load or unload, if waiting in the warehouse.</li>

Skills/Qualifications:
