The ED Tech is responsible for all blood draws, urinalysis, rapid tests, swabs, and operation of an electrocardiograph machine to record electromotive variations and impulses of the heart, upon the request of a physician for the use in the diagnosis or heart disorders performed within Opelousas General Health System. As patients arrive to the Emergency department or admitted into health organization the ED Tech is to review medical record or patient identification bracelet, follow printed lab orders and determine vials to be drawn per patient and operates EKG machine. ED Tech is also to provide effective communication/education to patients on the proper collection of urinalyses, stool specimens, etc. and is to work closely with lab techs, nursing and clinical staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Greets patients in a friendly, cheerful, and professional manner; determines their needs and responds accordingly.</li>
<li>Utilizes professional telephone etiquette with all callers; answers incoming calls by the third ring.</li>
<li>Reviews and prints lab orders and labels</li>
<li>Studies patient’s EKG requisition form to obtain vital information needed prior to the test, i.e., past heart disorders or special medication the patient has received</li>
<li>Explains purpose and procedure of the test to the patient</li>

Job Summary:
The Lead Care Manager (LCM) role involves developing personalized care plans, coordinating member services, and collaborating closely with members and families, as well as Primary Care Providers to ensure they receive necessary medical treatment and support. The LCM will consult with members to determine their needs, develop individualized action plans, and work with care teams to manage the member experience effectively. Providing emotional support, resolving administrative issues, and ensuring timely access to care are key aspects of the position. The LCM will work with a diverse population of members enrolled in the Enhanced Care Management program, which may involve one or multiple members from the population of focus section below.

General Summary
Under the general direction of a Nurse Manager, the Coordinator assumes administrative responsibility for the Department of Nursing for assigned shift. &nbsp;Serves as a liaison between administration and staff during the non-business hours of operation and assists unit personnel in problem solving, interpretation of institutional policies and procedures, and coordination of patient care services. &nbsp;
Collaborates with the Nurse Managers to assure that decisions are consistent with unit and divisional goals. &nbsp;Represents hospital administration and assists the “Administrator On-Call” in resolving those problems which require the immediate attention of an on-site manager. &nbsp;
 Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
