Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Boise and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) are seeking a Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider genuinely interested in cardiothoracic surgery services to join our team located in Boise, Idaho.
The selected candidate will have a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach to inpatient care in partnership with our Cardiothoracic Surgeons. The surgical APPs first assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations and manage the CVICU as well as the step-down unit.
The Cardiothoracic Surgery program is a three-surgeon practice, eight APPs, four CVOR specialized anesthesiologists, and four perfusionists who work together with an experienced staff on a dedicated floor that houses both the 10-bed dedicated CVICU, three dedicated CVORs, and a 6-bed step down unit. Our team of providers is projected to perform over 350 open heart surgeries and over 175 thoracic surgeries (including 80 robotic lobectomies), as well as over 160 TAVRs and 75 MitraClips.
Our practice specializes in adult cardiac surgery, Aortic surgery, Minimally Invasive Valve Surgery, Robotic Thoracic surgery, and Hybrid Maze procedure for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. Our practice also implants and manages ECMO and the Impella 5.5. The program participates in the STS Registry and aggressively benchmarks performance as part of an ever-vigilant quality and outcomes improvement program. Included among our accomplishments are a high early extubation rate, a low transfusion and other complication rates, and many regional and national cardiac surgery awards. The program strives to improve the cardiothoracic profession and is participating in the cutting-edge clinical research, development of new programs, and educational opportunities.
Schedule: Surgical Orientation may include five 8-hour shifts for approximately three months, then move into four 10-hour shifts per week (generally 6am-4pm).

Were currently recruiting a&nbsp;part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner&nbsp;to join our External Workplace Clinics team based at the&nbsp;Froedtert North Hills Health Center located in&nbsp;Menomonee Falls, WI. The Workplace Clinic practice is very collegial, collaborative, and consultative with exceptional support staff. 
The Froedtert &amp; the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education.&nbsp;
Our health network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. Enjoy autonomy with the benefit of a large hospital system and an academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin.&nbsp;
&nbsp;*Must be willing to work and travel to all Workplace Clinics in the West Bend market as needed.

For Nurse Practitioners:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.</li>
<li>A masters degree in nursing is required. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required.</li>
<li>A master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner specialty is required for staff that report to Workforce Health.</li>
<li>Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).</li>
<li>Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.</li>
<li>Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.</li>
<li>American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.</li>
<li>Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.</li>
<li>Family Nurse Practitioner certification by the ANCC or AANP is required for staff that report to Workforce Health.</li>
</ul>
For Physician Assistant:
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.</li>
<li>Current State certification as a PA; current DEA.</li>
<li>American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.</li>
