<h3>Job Description</h3>
Position Summary:
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will provide medical services to clients within a residential and detox setting. The FNP works as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care, focusing on substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and general medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive physical exams, health assessments, and medical histories on clients upon admission and during treatment.</li>
<li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including withdrawal symptoms and co-occurring medical issues.</li>
<li>Prescribe medications in accordance with federal and state guidelines, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) protocols when applicable.</li>
<li>Monitor the progress of clients during detox and residential treatment, modifying treatment plans as necessary.</li>
<li>Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care.</li>
<li>Provide health education and support to clients regarding medication, disease prevention, and overall wellness.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</li>
<li>Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care or referrals.</li>
<li>Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and ongoing training.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Current and unrestricted FNP license in the state of WI.</li>
<li>DEA license with ability to prescribe controlled substances.</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or primary care.</li>
<li>CPR/BLS certification required.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li>

Schedule &amp; Compensation:
<ul>
<li>Part-time; schedule may include evenings and/or weekends based on program needs.</li>
<li>Competitive hourly rate; compensation based on experience.</li>
