Day-to-Day Substitute Nurse

Director of Nursing Clinical Support

Position Summary
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) currently consists of 16 attorneys working collaboratively to provide a full range of legal services to Columbia University. &nbsp;OGC is seeking an attorney to work primarily on employment related issues in connection with Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC).&nbsp; CUIMC is one of the nation’s largest academic medical centers, and includes the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, School of Dental Medicine, Mailman School of Public Health and School of Nursing. &nbsp;Experience in employment law is required. Assistant Professor of Sociology - Housing/Homelessness

The Chief of Endocrinology will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the&nbsp;Division. The Division Chief will be responsible for all planning, policy, operations, and&nbsp;oversight of academic, research, and clinical programs of the Division. The Chief of Endocrinology&nbsp;will have financial authority over the division&nbsp; budget, including extramural research and&nbsp;philanthropic funding received and other financial matters for the division, in accordance with&nbsp;applicable University policies and practices. The Chief of Endocrinology will have discretion in&nbsp;the recruitment and retention of division faculty who will have a direct reporting line. Qualified&nbsp;candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) or equivalent degree&nbsp;from an accredited institution and be eligible for a University of Arizona academic appointment at&nbsp;the Associate or Full Professor rank. <li>Collaborate with Academic Affairs and other educational offices at the College to ensure the&nbsp;division and their faculty are advancing the mission of the medical student, graduate student, and&nbsp;graduate medical education teaching programs.</li>

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a talented and visionary individual who can work to develop innovative strategies in collaboration with academic and administrative departments to support and enhance student success. A master’s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a doctoral degree preferred. The VCSA provides leadership for a variety of student support departments. Areas of responsibility for the student development support departments include: Dean of Students Office; Health Service; Counseling Services; Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub; an Early Childhood Center (an accredited daycare facility for children ages 2-5); and Career Development Center.
