Community Sales Director Responsibilities 
As a Calyx Community Sales Director, you will be the primary driver of a world-class community with best in class census trajectory! Qualifications
Calyx aspires to hire a personable, hardworking, motivated and hands-on sales savvy individual. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience, possess excellent written and conversational skills, and proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, Yardi, etc. This position requires an individual comfortable with a fast pace and the standards and work ethic consistent with that environment. Candidate must have at least an associate's degree, although a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

Flexible scheduling availability is required! In this dynamic position, you'll gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of a small, welcoming beachside hotel. This is not a seasonal position - the goal is to have our incoming team members year-round.
 
This job requires someone willing to shift between tasks quickly and who can multitask! We are looking for someone to operate the front desk, clean and prepare rooms for arrivals, help with laundry, and bartend at our summer beach bar. Training/bartender certification will be provided if needed - training provided prior to the Summer season!&nbsp;

Compensation:
$16 - $19 an hour + gratuities
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Regular attendance and reporting to work on time, ready to begin your shift, is an essential function of employment (being tardy places an unfair burden on the team).</li>
<li>Welcome and check in guests in a friendly and efficient manner, demonstrating excellent customer service and phone etiquette.</li>
<li>Prepare breakfast in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate portions and adherence to the designated daily menu.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and prep area at all times; promptly wash dishes and sanitize all utensils and equipment after use.</li>
<li>Maintain full knowledge of all room types, features, locations, and rates.</li>
<li>Seasonal - Actively check on guests on the beach, ensuring fresh towels are present, everyone has drinks and snacks, and ensuring chairs are available. </li>
<li>Accurately handle all in-house accounts, including guest names, room charges, methods of payment, special requests, etc.</li>
<li>Handle services for guests, including guest mail, messages, telephone calls, faxes, wake-up calls, after-hours requests (i.e., extra towels, pillows, etc.), and general inquiries.</li>
<li>Complete tasks according to required standards within set time limits (i.e., minutes per occupied room).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Accurately ring in orders on POS (Point of Sales) quickly, in proper sequence, and use appropriate charges.</li>
<li>Ensure the needs of guests are continually being met courteously and professionally throughout the duration of their visit.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>1+ year of hospitality industry experience or related job preferred.</li>
<li>High school diploma/GED or equivalent.</li>
<li>Flexible schedule (weekends, holidays).</li>
<li>Must be comfortable with food prep. Experience working with food is not required, but it's a big plus!</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Google Docs and hotel reservation systems preferred.</li>
<li>Enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome.</li>
<li>Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.</li>
