Required Qualifications and Skills:

Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Spacecraft Software Engineer (Entry Level) to support the Engineering team in El Segundo, CA!


Job Summary As a Spacecraft Software Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, you’ll create the software that makes our satellites function in orbit. Your code will run on our custom avionics, process signals from sensors like our star trackers, and command actuators like the propulsion system. Your software may also interface with custom payloads and perform high-level autonomy functions to ensure our spacecraft accomplish their missions. We are looking for software engineers that can lead a small team developing the for a satellite, work with other teams to determine what the software needs to do, and then write (and test!) robust embedded C/C++ to meet those requirements. And when that code is running in space, you’ll continue to support mission operations with software updates and enhancements.
Occasionally, second shift coverage (3:30pm–1:00am) is needed to support vehicle test and integration operations, with this supporting effort distributed across the team

Job DescriptionA reputable engineering firm is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to join their growing team in Columbus! This is a hybrid position. 
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Manage day-to-day activities of transportation projects (staff coordination, budget oversight, and schedule management) </li>
<li>Oversee the design/preparation of roadway plans for highway and local road projects </li>
<li>Lead quality review processes and perform internal technical reviews to ensure plans meet the highest standards </li>
<li>Mentor/train junior staff </li>
<li>Assist with client presentations </li>
<li>Prepare project schedules, estimate manpower needs, and manage proposals, scope-of-work, and fees </li>
<li>Identify scope changes, assist in negotiating contract modifications, and ensure client expectations are met </li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure successful project execution </li>
</ul>
 
Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University </li>
<li>Proven experience in the design and preparation of plans for both interstate and local road/street projects </li>
<li>P.E. License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months of hire </li>
<li>Project management experience (managing transportation projects, including budgets, schedules, and teams) </li>
<li>Knowledge of ODOT and FHWA standards </li>
<li>Experience using MicroStation, GeoPAK, and Open Roads </li>
</ul>
 
Salary is commensurate with experience.
