Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Develop and fine-tune generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion, transformer-based architectures).</li>
<li>Build and manage data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and continuous learning.</li>
<li>Design prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers and product teams to deploy scalable inference APIs.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Strong Python skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with vector databases, RAG, and fine-tuning open-weight models (e.g., Llama, Mistral).</li>
<li>Familiarity with cloud ML environments (AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex, or Azure ML).</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li>

Position Description
Harmonia is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto Networks and Cisco technologies to support the Department of State in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge in firewall management, routing protocols, and enterprise networking while providing leadership in technology modernization, network security, and systems integration. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network systems, including Palo Alto Networks and Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.</li>
<li>Utilize the Panorama Firewall Management platform for centralized configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Provide Tier-III firewall and network support, including advanced troubleshooting of complex security and connectivity issues.</li>
<li>Conduct technical analysis in network planning, engineering, design, and performance optimization.</li>
<li>Integrate and secure enterprise applications across interconnected systems.</li>
<li>Monitor, document, and maintain network performance, configurations, SOPs, and technical documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Department of State security policies, DHS standards, and industry best practices.</li>
<li>Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, servers, SANs, and related network devices.</li>
<li>Lead efforts in requirements gathering, test planning, and certification/accreditation activities.</li>
<li>Provide escalation support, training, and mentorship to junior network engineers.</li>
<li>Conduct research and development for emerging technologies to enhance the network security posture.</li>
</ul>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).</li>
<li>Active TS/SCI security clearance.</li>
<li>CCNA or CCNP is required.</li>
<li>Minimum 8–10 years of enterprise IT systems and network administration experience.</li>
<li>Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls).</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Panorama Firewall Management and Palo Alto Networks products.</li>
<li>Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, static routes, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, multicast).</li>
<li>Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, Linux, VMware virtualization, and SAN/RAID storage solutions.</li>
<li>Proven experience developing and implementing network security solutions.</li>
<li>Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.</li>
</ul>
Desired
<ul>
<li>Palo Alto Networks certification (PCNSE) is highly desired.</li>
<li>Prior experience supporting the Department of State or other federal agencies.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of federal compliance standards, C&amp;A activities, and security frameworks.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead modernization projects and mentor junior engineers.</li>
