About FDD's Internship Program
 The Foundation for Defense of Democracies offers a variety of internship opportunities designed to provide meaningful professional development. Interns participate in a twice-monthly speaker series featuring senior staff members in a small-group setting and are encouraged to strengthen their academic and analytical skills through close collaboration with FDD scholars and experts. The organization offers stipends and can assist students seeking academic credit; however, stipend eligibility requirements must be met. FDD provides both hybrid and remote internship options.

The International Organizations Research Program
The International Organization Program (IOP) is seeking a part-time intern (around 20 hours/per week). The intern will work closely with FDD experts to conduct research for FDD's International Organizations Program, including research into how U.S. adversaries - including China, Russia, Iran, Syria and others - co-opt specific international institutions, arms control and general lawfare. The intern will hone their research skills by diving into developments, funding, management and operations of specific IOs. Training: Completion of a formal intelligence school course (typically 3+ months full time) resulting in an Intelligence MOS (e.g., All-Source, IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT).

Technical Skills:

Analytica is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Artificial Intelligence Ethics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and advise on the ethical implementation, integration, and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) platforms across the enterprise. This position provides expert-level technical leadership and strategic guidance on the selection and use of AI platforms, ensuring that AI systems adhere to principles of fairness, accountability, transparency, and trustworthiness, particularly in federal and defense environments.&nbsp;
The AI Ethics SME will play a pivotal role in shaping Responsible Artificial Intelligence (RAI) strategy, delivering ethical assessments, and guiding key stakeholders in aligning AI technologies with Department of Defense (DoD) values and policies.&nbsp;
Key Responsibilities&nbsp;

Job DescriptionFrench &amp; Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Geotechnical department for our Wall, NJ office.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, providing technical advice and strategic direction as needed.</li>
<li>Oversee the design and analysis of geotechnical aspects of projects including foundation design, slope stability, soil mechanics, earth retaining structures, and groundwater management.</li>
<li>Supervise and mentor junior engineers, geologists, and technicians, ensuring their professional development and adherence to company standards.</li>
<li>Prepare and review geotechnical investigation reports, feasibility studies, and technical specifications for clients and contractors.</li>
<li>Ensure high standards of quality control, review project deliverables, and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li>
<li>Develop project budgets, track project costs, and monitor schedules, proactively addressing any issues that could impact project delivery.</li>
<li>Assist in identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting marketing initiatives to grow the geotechnical division.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Additional certifications such as Geo-technical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or related are a plus.</li>
<li>At least 8 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership.</li>
<li>Experience with geotechnical site investigations, foundation design, soil-structure interaction, and remedial solutions.</li>
<li>Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and interacting with clients.</li>
<li>Strong technical expertise in geotechnical engineering, including software tools for analysis </li>
<li>Proficient in project management software</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>

Compensation
