As part of our Street Department, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of city streets and related infrastructure.  Generally, your schedule will be daytime hours Monday through Friday, with required shifts during winter street clearing events.

<ul>
<li>Process customer orders received in person (at the sales counter) or by phone, fax and E-Commerce to include company transfers and delivery request</li>
<li>Locate parts, equipment and supplies for our customers from various sources.</li>
<li>Support long term business relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and gain acceptance</li>
<li>Assist in warehouse duties, which include pulling customer orders and putting away stock while occasionally operating a forklift</li>
<li>Promote new and existing products, upgrades and services to our customers</li>
<li>Assist customers with technical support and problem solving</li>
<li>Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to sales team (Territory Managers or Account Executives)</li>
<li>Maintain professional atmosphere of sales facility by restocking and maintaining both showroom shelves and product displays</li>
<li>Process warranties</li>
<li>Process Cycle Counts and assist in maintaining accuracy of physical inventory</li>
<li>Make occasional deliveries using company vehicle</li>
<li>Participate in after-hours On Call and Training classes</li>
<li>Work overtime as assigned</li>

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee may work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>2 years customer service and/or sales experience</li>
<li>2 years experience in the HVAC industry, preferred</li>
<li>Proficient in computers, including MS Office</li>
<li>Forklift experience</li>
<li>Possess a valid driver’s license</li>
<li>Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies</li>
<li>Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy </li>
<li>Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question</li>
</ul>
Travel Requirement:
<ul>
<li>5% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay</li>
