Job Overview:
This Automotive Diagnostic Technician position offers flexible work options and is open to both full-time and part-time availability.
We are looking for technicians who are energetic, have a great attitude, and are team players. You seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
As a Diagnostic Technician with Christian Brothers Automotive (Full or Part-Time), you leverage your diagnostic and communication skills to diagnose vehicles, mentor technicians, and coach our team of service professionals that our guests trust when they need help with their vehicles. &nbsp;You are a key person that nurtures the integrity and transparency that our guests experience every time they invest in their vehicle.&nbsp; You are critical to building trusting relationships with our guests through consistent and superior quality diagnoses and transparent education.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Continuously build your technician experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li>
<li>Leverage best-in-class technician resources available through Christian Brothers Automotive</li>
<li>Work as a team to troubleshoot and get to the root cause of customer concerns</li>
<li>Work closely with Service to transparently communicate customer repair options</li>
<li>Follow &amp; promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and shop organization</li>
<li>Work collaboratively and collegially to meet customer expectations and deliver extraordinary results</li>
<li>Complete full, accurate and visually transparent digital vehicle inspections</li>
<li>Ensure we treat every guest with our “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” level of respect</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>3+ years experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>Strong desire of problem solving</li>
<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
<li>Open to Full or Part-Time work availability</li>
<li>ASE Certifications preferred, or plan to achieve</li>
<li>Proficiency in Windows-based computers</li>
<li>Current driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds</li>
<li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li>
<li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li>
<li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li>
<li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li>
<li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li>
<li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li>
</ul>
