<li>EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)</li>

<li>Trane CenTraVac / Series R Factory Training</li>
<li>York YK/YT/YVAA Chiller Certification</li>
<li>Daikin/McQuay Water-Cooled Chiller Certification</li>
</ul>
<li>VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) factory or equivalent training (ABB, Danfoss, Trane, etc.)</li>
<li>BAS/Controls familiarity (Johnson, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane Tracer, Carrier i-Vu)</li>
</ul>
Technical Knowledge &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on water-cooled chiller service experience</li>
<li>Proficient in centrifugal, screw, and absorption chiller technologies</li>
<li>Ability to perform tear-downs, overhauls, and tube brushing/cleaning</li>
<li>Strong understanding of refrigerant handling, reclaim, recovery, and charging (including A2L refrigerants)</li>
<li>Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and control schematics</li>
<li>Experience with eddy current testing coordination and reporting</li>
<li>Knowledge of cooling tower interface and condenser water treatment requirements</li>
</ul>
Tools &amp; Equipment
<ul>
<li>Owns and maintains a complete set of HVAC tools (gauges, meters, recovery machine, torque wrenches, laptop interface tools, etc.)</li>
<li>Familiar with diagnostic software and factory interfaces for Carrier, Trane, York, Daikin, etc.</li>
<li>Experience in vibration analysis and oil/refrigerant sample testing</li>
</ul>
Safety &amp; Compliance
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures</li>
<li>Ability to perform confined space work (cooling towers, mechanical rooms)</li>
<li>Experience with high-voltage equipment (4160V starters, medium-voltage chillers)</li>
<li>Strong track record of safe work practices with no major safety violations</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills with customers and internal team</li>
<li>Detailed service reporting and documentation ability (Spectrum/eSub/Salesforce experience a plus)</li>
<li>Ability to mentor apprentices and junior techs</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and clean driving record, clean background and drug test</li>
<li>Willingness to be part of rotating on-call schedule for emergency service</li>
