Job DescriptionWho We Are: Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations. Job Summary: Delivery drivers are responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is 4, 10 hour shifts.&nbsp; Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection.</li>
<li>Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all DOT and traffic regulations. </li>
<li>Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.</li>
<li>Check product in with store personnel. </li>
<li>Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures. </li>
<li>Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.</li>
<li>Rotate all product according to company standards.</li>
<li>Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.</li>
<li>Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel. </li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills &amp; Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Delivery driver experience preferred. </li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card.</li>
<li>Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.</li>
<li>Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment
<ul>
<li>Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.</li>
<li>Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.</li>
<li>Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions. </li>

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the equipment and personnel associated with operations.&nbsp; The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing activities on the assigned shift in an efficient and safe manner. 
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Coordinate activity with the shift supervisor to plan and manage shift schedules to meet production goals, prioritize work orders, maintain quality requirements, and assure an even flow of work to increase up-time and minimize unscheduled downtime. 
Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees, approve time records, communicate and implement company policy.&nbsp; Engage in employee development activities, make recommendations on employee hire, promotion and disciplinary action. 
Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are understood and executed by all employees. 
Conduct employee training on all equipment, protocols, production standards, safety regulations, and waste control on an ongoing basis. 
Perform all quality control tests in accordance with continuous improvement standards of PCA. 
Verify the quality of the jobs and investigate any customer complaints. 
Supervise efficient operation of equipment including the inspection of materials, products, and equipment to detect and/or prevent malfunctions; assist in troubleshooting any corrugator slowdowns or other problems. 
Analyze performance, identify opportunities, make recommendations for process and equipment improvement, establish goals, and execute strategy. 
Participate in production meeting and provide updates as needed. 
Communicate closely with scheduling department to detect any discrepancies and assure production requirements are met. 
Maintain accurate records of activity including daily downtime reports, supplies/inventory, and material utilization.&nbsp;
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School diploma or GED. 
4+ years’ of production experience with an established knowledge of the machinery, methods and procedures under supervision including continual improvement processes and safety practices. 
Able to work flexible hours as needed. 

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Some college or manufacturing training. 
Previous supervisory experience in training, teambuilding, performance development, and conflict resolution. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES: 
Ability to perform all production jobs and train crew on equipment use, adjustments and unique situations.&nbsp;
Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including shop floor software. 
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests. 
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
Solid analytical and mechanical ability. 
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with production team and management. 
Previous work experience as a member of a team, or a strong understanding of the importance of open communication and information sharing between team members.
