· Locates, prepares, transfers and loads materials to be processed; transfers WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area.
· Prepares packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels and stacks or stages contain- ers for transfer. 4. Draws samples and takes to QC lab for testing per product specifications. Confers with lab technicians and supervisors and makes adjustments to the process to bring the product within specification.

Ability to read and follow a recipe for mixing and/or blending product.
&nbsp;Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process.
These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred.
Working Conditions
Working environment is a production unit and includes frequent exposures to wet, humid, dusty, or loud conditions, moving machine parts, fumes or airborne particles and caustic chemicals. A company issued uniform is required to be worn along with personal protective equipment at all times. This can include cover- alls, dust mask, hearing protection, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. Work may occur in small rooms with air lock compliance to avoid interdepartmental contamination.

Your day to day responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform inspections and repairs production equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, and utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3-phase motors and controls</li>
<li>Diagnose&nbsp;and troubleshooting failures on equipment</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, PM’s and repairs of buildings, equipment and installed systems to include: extrusion, thermoforming, printing machinery, grinders, blowers, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment</li>
<li>Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices</li>
<li>Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems</li>
<li>Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, piping, floors and equipment</li>
<li>Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned</li>
</ul>
What you need to be successful:
<ul>
<li>At least 3&nbsp;years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) in a production or heavy industrial environment</li>
<li>Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance</li>
