<li>Develop a plan for your activities, identify risks to completion, establish work priorities, set milestone goals, regularly assess the progress on the job, and escalate issues that will affect delivery.</li>
<li>Utilize knowledge of various types of steel (H13, SS, S7, P20, etc.) and know their relative hardness levels to determine machining equipment needed for each</li>
<li>Apply knowledge of all tool room equipment and fundamental set-ups (CNC, Milling Machine, Lathes, EDM) to achieve tight tolerance results.</li>
<li>Read and understand blueprints, CAD files, written, and verbal work instructions to perform machining of mold components</li>
<li>Fabricate mold components such as cores and cavities, fitting ejectors, heat treating and finish cutting, grinding to achieve the required dimensional specifications.</li>
<li>Apply safety training &amp; knowledge to operate all equipment in a safe manner </li>
<li>Monitor the status of the incoming components of your molds and communicate as necessary with the purchasing team to verify you will have the components when required to meet delivery.</li>
<li>Assemble the mold and to prepare it for testing. Verify fits and functionality of all mechanisms, sliding components, and cooling system. Complete inspections of the cores/cavities to verify proper seal offs, dimensions, and finish. </li>
<li>Troubleshoot issues if they arise and develop plans to resolve. Make adjustments of final fits and components to ensure the mold will perform in testing and production. Document critical dimensions as required.</li>
<li>Perform mold disassembly/assembly and machining tasks to develop/fine tune molds, repair molds, and make engineering changes. Assist others to complete mold cleaning and repairs.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous improvements efforts to improve operations and mold making process.</li>
<li>Maintain tooling inventory.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance to molding department and maintenance.</li>
<li>Assure compliance to all molding area related procedures/policies. </li>

· Stand, sit, and climb in and around the machine to assemble the machine.

Job Description
The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.</li>
<li>Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.</li>
<li>Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.</li>
<li>Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.</li>
<li>Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.</li>
<li>Pack, seal, and move boxes.</li>
<li>Pick up, move, and sort small parts.</li>
<li>Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned by management.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, and wiring.</li>
<li>Experience with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret and work with blueprints.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Associates degree or certificate in a technical area preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in assembly or manufacturing.</li>
<li>High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment.</li>
<li>Experience in the space or aeronautical field is desirable.</li>
