<li>Review daily maintenance effectiveness and work with staff from both Operations and Maintenance to identify opportunities for improvement. Prioritize, request, and ensure equipment maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency.</li>
<li>Responsible for all supervisory activities including, but not limited to, scheduling, performance, hiring, discipline coaching, training and development and termination recommendations.</li>
<li>Supervise and assist in the training of production processes. Provide training, guidance and coaching to employees in a consistent and constructive manner.</li>
<li>Communicate shift activity to Team Members and keep them informed of the changes to equipment, processes and materials / supplies.</li>
<li>Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction</li>
<li>Adhere to established staffing model and schedule by meeting staffing requirements, and managing start, stop, and transition times.</li>

Training
As an Outside Plant Construction Technician II, you will have the opportunity to obtain a Class A CDL through our in-house training program. You will attend safety training at one of our new facilities where you will also be trained on Pole Climbing and Bucket Trucks. On-the-job training includes exposure to various construction equipment including Directional Drill Rigs, Mini Excavators, Trenchers, and Locators. Fiber optic training includes Fusion Splicing, Fault Detection, and exposure to OTDRs and other advanced testing equipment.
The duration of training varies based on the team assignment. Training for underground teams is 3 weeks, with an additional 1 week required for aerial training. Depending on factors such as market needs, prior skills, and team size, some individuals may only complete underground training, while others may undergo the full 4-week program, including aerial training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and handling equipment, with the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
Work conditions often include exposure to outdoor weather, attics, crawl spaces, high-risk areas (e.g., high voltage, trenches, manholes), and mechanical equipment. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, fumes, and loud noise is expected.

<li>Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, operating or production problems, and product quality. </li>
<li>Consult with maintenance and engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve safety, production and quality of products. </li>
<li>Ensure compliance through teamwork for all Standard Operating Procedures within the Plant.</li>
<li>Maintain all quality requirements and work closely with the Quality Department in promoting quality and efficiency improvements.</li>
<li>Implement and manage continuous improvement activities to effectively eliminate waste.</li>
<li>Produce weekly or monthly production reports and analysis.</li>
<li>Lead/support capital planning, spending justification, equipment installation, and startup processes for Plant 2.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, company policy, rules of conduct, governmental regulations, and good housekeeping procedures.</li>
<li>Support Operations Leadership in his/her efforts to effectively establish the priorities for the day and to assist the Operating Crews (when required) to implement the action plans to address those priorities.</li>
<li>Partner with Research &amp; Development to review and approve development work on production assets and provide appropriate operations support throughout new product development life cycle to schedule trials, evaluate safety and product/process capability, commercialize products, and implement process improvements.</li>

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
