Goodwill TalentBridge is currently hiring a School Operations Manager, for a local, private charter school in the Milwaukee area. This is a long-term contract opportunity. 
Duties:
<ul>
<li>Monitor, submit, and organize all invoices and packing slips for incoming and outgoing deliveries</li>
<li>Lead the planning and coordination of logistics for student transportation if applicable</li>
<li>Help to plan, prepare, and coordinate school events and activities as needed</li>
<li>Supervise office management, security personnel, custodians, contractors, and other non-instructional staff</li>
<li>Ensure the school facility and grounds are well-maintained and manage the timely resolution of all related issues</li>
<li>Ensure the smooth operation of the main office including mailings, attendance reporting, office machine maintenance, etc.</li>
<li>Ensure school-wide compliance with health and safety laws, Department of Instruction or Education mandates, and all federal and state workplace regulations in partnership with leadership</li>
<li>Complete all compliance information for food and transportation if applicable, including collection of free and reduced lunch information to determine family eligibility</li>
<li>Coordinate school security, safety drills, and bell schedules according to school needs</li>
<li>Work with school staff to ensure hallway and general facility decorations meet all relevant codes and are updated and maintained regularly</li>
</ul>
Finance &amp; Human Resources
<ul>
<li>Partner with the Principal to manage the school budget process including the annual budget development and ongoing budget management</li>
<li>Accurately enter invoices, generate checks, and control receipt of purchased items within accounting software</li>
<li>Ensure proper internal control of organization’s assets and assist the Finance Team with internal/external audits.</li>
<li>Generate operating and financial reports in relation to school performance for review with the school leader and the Finance team</li>
<li>Work with HR and appropriate school-based staff to maintain, update, and communicate the Employee Handbook</li>
<li>Ensure applicable hourly employee timecards are accurate and submitted to Payroll in a timely manner</li>
<li>Maintain personnel records and tracking of staff sick and personal days</li>
<li>Serve as the school-based point of contact for benefits and HR questions in conjunction with HR team</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree with management, accounting, operations or HR focus preferred</li>
<li>At least 3+ years of work experience preferably in an operations management capacity, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment</li>
<li>Previous experience working in a school environment preferred</li>
<li>Comfort level with financial oversight and budgetary tracking to support strategic growth</li>
<li>Experience with accounting, financial oversight, and human resources desired</li>
<li>Experience working managing multi-functional teams to achieve desired results</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li>

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Transportation Manager to oversee the Transportation Division within a designated region. In this role, you will collaborate with Operational Management, Marketing Teams, local transportation staff, and the Director of Transportation &amp; Logistics to optimize staff and equipment efficiencies. Your primary focus will be on creating a positive customer service experience through highly trained staff, with a strong emphasis on safety.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic analysis, planning, and process improvement for the Transportation Division (primarily via truck) across facilities in the designated region to drive cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
Conduct transportation analysis in key areas, including employees (internal) and contract carriers.
Manage staffing levels to ensure prompt and satisfactory customer service.
Regularly review cost structures of internal truck drivers and Contract Carrier Agreements to align with Trading's performance goals.
Develop a comprehensive database of transportation equipment in each market to optimize fleet utilization across the corporation.
Monitor and analyze fuel costs and surcharges.
Collaborate with local operations, marketing, and purchasing teams to recommend, analyze, and modify regional and local leasing and purchases of transportation equipment.
Monitor and analyze MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) costs to identify expense drivers and eliminate inefficiencies where possible.
Assist the local Transportation team in performance assessment of internal truck drivers and Contract Carriers. Foster long-term relationships with existing and new Contract Carriers to ensure a solid business partnership.
Resolve issues with Contract Carriers and minimize operational inefficiencies.
Support the corporate Safety Team in promoting safety practices throughout the Transportation division across the region.
Utilize the Scrap Runner program to generate critical transportation analysis and communicate findings to local transportation and operational teams to drive continuous efficiency initiatives.
Implement Scrap Runner in larger markets to facilitate dispatching within the designated region. Establish regional Call Centers to optimize labor costs.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to analyze transportation and equipment costs for accounts outside the standard business structure.
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business plans to support Facility Managers and RDOs (Regional Directors of Operations) in achieving yearly goals.
Assist Facility Managers and Marketing in resolving cost and customer satisfaction issues.
Create a comprehensive database of Contract Carriers' routes, shipped materials, equipment, and costs. Utilize this information to generate cost savings through optimized route planning and reducing empty miles.
Collaborate with Marketing Teams across the region to identify opportunities for selling products in unconventional areas when excess truck capacity is available.
Provide requested reports to the Management Team and perform other related duties as assigned.
Project Functions:
Enhance the Contract Carrier Agreement to address key issues, including auto-renewal language, fuel surcharge program, damage claim resolution, and expectations of services provided.
Develop pro forma models to illustrate income opportunities for current and potential Contract Carriers based on optimal equipment and credentials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
