Job Summary:
Responsible for providing spa guests with safe and effective massage and various therapy services while consistently exceeding guest expectations. Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and concern for guest's needs in a professional manner. Job Responsibilities:

Work Schedule:

Scheduled duty hours will include a 30- or 60-minute lunch/dinner break will be given during the shift as determined by the unit. Job Duties, the duties include but are not limited to the following:

<li>The primary functions of the PA/NP will be as follows, in order of importance. These functions will be carried out under the direction of the Director, Burn Center. It is understood that the unattended performance of invasive critical care procedures will not be undertaken until the PA/NP in writing by the Director, Burn Center for each procedure in question.</li>
<li>Assist at Burn Surgery when needed. </li>
<li>To perform critical care procedures including but not limited to history taking, physical examination, recording progress notes, writing orders for patient care and performing catheterization, ventilator management, feeding tube placement, bronchoscopy and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.</li>
<li>Participate in the rounds and other education of the Burn Center. </li>
<li>Evaluate and Treat Patients in the Burn Unit</li>
<li>Provide instructional information to visiting military and civilian students, residents and staff personnel in burn care management.</li>
<li>Participate in national, state and local planning, infection control, ABLS and ATLS. </li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education: PA/NP must be graduates of a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioners Training Program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and accreditation of the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. HCP must have successfully completed the examination given by the governing medical</li>
<li>associations (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners).</li>
<li>Licensure: PA/NP shall possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted, current license to practice from any United States jurisdictions and a National Provider Identifier (NPI). The licenses and certificates must be renewed and maintained in a current status during the life of the contract. PA/NP shall have no record of disciplinary action that would currently exclude, suspend or terminate him/her as an authorized Uniform Health Services or TRICARE provider.</li>
<li>Experience: The HCP must also have a minimum of one year experience within the last three years routinely practicing as a PA/NP.</li>
<li>Certification: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). The contractor is responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all times while performing services under this contract.</li>
<li>DEA Registration: Must have or obtain a current, valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number prior performing the contract services. Attention all Physician Assistants, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members. 
We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of _________ on an "as needed basis".
Under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) we provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:
<ul>
<li>U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)</li>
<li>Army National Guard (ARNG)</li>
<li>U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)</li>
<li>U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)</li>
<li>U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)</li>
<li>Air National Guard (ANG)</li>
<li>U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel. </li>
<li>Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires. </li>
<li>Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.</li>
<li>Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health. </li>
<li>Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Supervising Physician may required depending on the state requirement</li>
<li>Active PA license in the state</li>
<li>CPR/BLS Certification</li>
<li>Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred</li>
<li>Experience with mobile medical services - preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred</li>
<li>Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily</li>
<li>Able to work extended hours</li>
<li>Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations</li>
<li>Able to travel, with weekend availability - preferred</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Basic computer knowledge and skills</li>
<li>Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications</li>
