Your role:
 In order to ensure quality healthcare services, the Certified Nurse Midwife provides direct patient care to women, which includes gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care. Additionally, the CNM provides clinical leadership to other providers around perinatal services.
 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

<li>Follows evidenced-based practice guidelines and standards of care.</li>
<li>Provides direct patient care to women from menarche to end of life.</li>
<li>Evaluates and treats patients for gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum concerns.</li>
<li>Provides family planning and contraceptive services.</li>
<li>Performs newborn assessment at first post-birth appointment.</li>
<li>Arranges referrals and consultation for patients with healthcare needs beyond the scope of practice.</li>
<li>Coordinates group visits as needed for women's health education sessions.</li>
<li>Communicates and coordinates with hospitals for scheduling inductions and cesareans as needed.</li>
<li>Reviews labs and ultrasound reports and develops a plan of care when abnormal.</li>
<li>Prescribes medications to patients, including counseling patients regarding the proper use and contraindications of medications as well as detect and diagnose adverse drug reactions.</li>
<li>Evaluates medical charts to determine appropriate patient care follow up and education.</li>
<li>Accurately and completely charts information regarding patient interactions into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).</li>
<li>Works within and supports a team based and integrated care model, which includes medical assistants, other medical specialties, dental, behavioral health, patient navigation, and care coordination.</li>

We offer a competitive salary/hourly range of $108,000 - $125,000, depending on your experience.

Requirements:
What to expect as a CNA/Unit Clerk:
<ul>
<li>Perform patient care duties including ADL’s.</li>
<li>Take vital signs, pulse oximetry readings, weigh patients and report abnormal readings.</li>
<li>Assemble treatment equipment and assist the nurse with procedures.</li>
<li>Be able to multi-task and have consistent professional etiquette.</li>
<li>Effectively use basic medical terminology.</li>
<li>Manage the phone system and have excellent computer skills.</li>
<li>Interpret basic arrhythmias.</li>
<li>Be responsible for the surveillance of arrhythmias on monitored patients.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li>
<li>BLS, required.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette, and attention to detail are required.</li>
