Position Overview: Paragon Behavioral Health Connections is seeking a Masters Level Clinician for Substance Use Disorder Treatment to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role involves delivering treatment in accordance with ASAM Level 2.1 guidelines and providing both group and individual therapy sessions. The clinician will work in or near the designated locations and travel to homes and communities of the clients we serve.
 
Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct SUD assessments to determine the presence, nature, and extent of the clients substance use challenges.</li>
<li>Deliver treatment services per ASAM Level 2.1, involving 9 to 20 hours of treatment per week.</li>
<li>Facilitate group therapy sessions in multiple locations throughout the Denver/Metro area</li>
<li>Conduct individual therapy sessions.</li>
<li>Conduct Family sessions.</li>
<li>Facilitate medical care availability 24 hours a day via phone or within 72 hours in person.</li>
<li>Respect client autonomy in starting or stopping services at any time.</li>
<li>Assign clients to appropriate treatment schedules and coordinate with care managers and peers for holistic support.</li>
<li>Leverages the strengths of the client to develop skills to improve symptoms and overall wellbeing.</li>

Essential Functions

<li>Assists residents with all activities of daily living while maintaining privacy. (Assists with daily dental and oral care, required baths, dressing and hair and nail care. Ensures that residents that wear eyeglasses, hearing aides, splints and/or braces are wearing prescribed appliances. Empties and maintains colostomy bags.)</li>
<li>Assists in encouraging residents to reach their maximum level of physical function via providing minimal assistance needed (per Kardex) for ambulation, transferring and toileting. Maintains safety of all resident by utilizing proper transfer technique indicated on Kardex.</li>
<li>Obtains weights as indicated by nurse.</li>
<li>Ensures all incontinent residents are kept clean, dry and odor free. Provides proper toileting method as indicated on Kardex (urinal, bed pan, take to bathroom, bedside commode). Maintains bowel and bladder retraining program if needed. Ensures that all required documentation for B &amp; B training program is recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Provides Foley care, as needed. Reports any pertinent change in bowel or bladder function to the nurse.</li>
