<li>The compensation and pension exam helps the VA answer questions about Veterans' current health. The practitioners will not decide the percent of disability or rating, develop treatment plans, or prescribe medication.</li>

<li>Prior to the exam, the practitioner reviews a Veteran's medical or mental health history, using electronic bookmarks that highlight the portions applicable to the Veteran's claimed condition.</li>
<li>The practitioner is guided through a web-based examination form in LHI's Provider Portal to capture the Veteran's responses during the exam.</li>
<li>Electronic exam documentation is known as a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) and must be submitted promptly within 48 hours of each appointment.</li>
<li>The number of DBQs completed per exam will vary based on the Veteran's claimed conditions.</li>
<li>Administrative time is provided to complete exam documentation and ensure timely submission.</li>
<li>The documentation is reviewed by a team of medical professionals to ensure contract compliance and guarantee the verbiage aligns with customer requirements.</li>
<li>Requests for changes or corrections to exam documentation must be submitted within 48 hours of the appointment.</li>
<li>Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans.</li>
<li>The Practitioner will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically.</li>
<li>Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.</li>
<li>Audiometry exams are scheduled in 60+ minutes for a comprehensive audio exam for assessing hearing loss and tinnitus</li>

Work Location The company is looking to hire in key areas of a major geographical location. The company uses a geographical area of service to hire program. The idea is to saturate an area with as many technicians as possible to answer the demand of service requests. Technicians employed in an area will be able to work and operate in the extended surrounding area; this helps ensure that employees can live within a service area while choosing the specific location that best suits them and responding to calls for service promptly. **On-Site Health &amp; Safety conducts an extensive background check, which includes a motor vehicle drivers license check. The insurance company and internal safety department review MVR records to determine if an applicant will be extended fleet driving privileges based on several risk factors, including previous negative hits on an MVR check, such as excessive moving violations, DUIs, reckless driving, etc. The search also considers a drivers driving age/history. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements above to apply. On-Site Health &amp; Safety offers of employment are contingent upon the successful outcome of a pre-employment background check and drug screen. ***Due to the nature of On-Site Health &amp; Safety services, employees may have access to federally funded or owned job sites/projects. As a result, all new hires and existing employees are subject to drug testing in a manner consistent with a federally compliant test. The test may include all substances that can be found in Department of Transportation-regulated tests. The timing of testing includes pre-employment, reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause, and return to duty. ***Some employees may be classified as having safety-sensitive positions. These positions are identified as Field Personnel, including Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, Field Training Specialists, and any variation of those positions. These positions are also subject to post-accident and random testing. Due to the possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or bodily fluids, immunization against hepatitis B is recommended.
