Our team provides 1 on 1 care in patients homes with extensive services to provide our patients with the best possible care.
Our Occupational Therapist oversee all (home based) therapy care based off the plan of care for patients located within the Richmond, Hopewell, Petersburg and surrounding territory. 
The Occupational Therapist will effectively interact with patients, caregivers, family members and other interdisciplinary co-workers to provide skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and/or certified by successfully completing the National Certification examination, or</li>
<li>Is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association </li>
<li>Currently licensed and in good standing in the state(s) in which practicing.</li>
<li>Two (2) years' experience, preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to apply and analyze data as it pertains to quality and compliance metrics.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization, clients and family members </li>
<li>Able to travel on a regular basis.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Two (2) years' home health nursing experience, preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience with Home Care Home Base EMR system strongly preferred.</li>
</ul>

The Job:
Our Home Care specialist team is the revenue engine for the organization. Driven, hard-working, yet part of a tight-knit group of supportive peers, who enjoy spirited competition yet work collaboratively to earn a collective goal across our footprint. 
This position would be covering the Midlothian VA market as well as some of the surrounding areas.
As a valued member of the 25-strong team, you will:

<li>Call on hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and continuing-care campuses, to connect with Social Workers, discharge planners, case managers and administrative staff, to promote the sale of designated service lines.</li>
<li>Provide strategic solutions, explain our programs, our readiness, and our differentiators, to earn trust and respect in a competitive landscape, but one where we already fare extremely well.</li>
<li>Create solid weekly plans, set up meetings with case management and leadership, among others, to further reiterate our abilities and strengths.</li>
<li>Collaborate well with branch or centralized operational teams, clinical staff, and internal sales team members to ensure an exceptional early consumer experience and efficient and effective delivery of care.</li>
<li>Utilize the array of tools provided, to promote our good name in the market </li>

The formal requirements are few, but mainly we ask for a rock-solid sales background on a similar platform. Hospice, home care, home health, Assisted Living, etc., are all usually well-aligned historically, but come to us with the ability to SELL, and sell well, and we can talk.
