Registered Behavior Technician job responsibilities include:

<li>Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training</li>
<li>Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in the client's individualized treatment plan built by BCBA/BC</li>
<li>Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior</li>
<li>Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols</li>
<li>Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures</li>
<li>Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC</li>
<li>Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concerns</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment</li>

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

Your Role and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Administer medications, perform clinical treatments, and document patient care.</li>
<li>Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.</li>
<li>Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.</li>
<li>Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.</li>
<li>Evaluate and educate patients and families based on their unique needs.</li>
<li>Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient.</li>
<li>Float to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios.</li>
<li>Manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and critical drips.</li>
<li>Pass a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire/transfer.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.</li>
<li>License: Current RN license to practice in the state of KY.</li>
<li>Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire</li>
<li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire</li>
<li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire</li>
<li>Handle with Care training within 30 days of orientation, renewed annually.</li>
