 Job Description: Locum General Surgeon Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Start Date: As soon as credentialed - ongoing Position Type: Locum Shift: 24-hour hospital on-call shift, 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Locum General Surgeon to join our progressive healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of surgical procedures in a supportive and challenging environment. As a member of our surgical team, the successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This is a great opportunity for a surgeon looking to expand their career while contributing to a compassionate and efficient healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Provide general surgery services, including both adult and pediatric care (trauma preferred).</li>
<li>Perform laparoscopic surgeries, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty (required).</li>
<li>Perform head/neck surgeries (required).</li>
<li>Conduct chest wall/pleural procedures (required).</li>
<li>Breast surgery (preferred).</li>
<li>Liver surgery (preferred).</li>
<li>Perform GI endoscopy (upper and lower) (required).</li>
<li>Perform chest tube insertion (preferred).</li>
<li>Perform central line insertion (preferred).</li>
<li>Perform PA catheter placement (preferred).</li>
</ul>
 Certifications Required: 
<ul>
<li>BLS (Basic Life Support)</li>
<li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)</li>
<li>DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Certification</li>
</ul>
 Licensing Requirements: Must be WI licensed or eligible through IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact). EMR System: Epic Schedule and Availability:

<li>On-call 24-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM.</li>
</ul>
