Job Summary
We are looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to become part of the Denver Wellness team! Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients</li>
<li>Write prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy</li>
<li>Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists</li>
<li>Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team</li>
<li>Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements</li>
<li>Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice</li>
<li>Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations</li>
<li>Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate</li>

Requirements:
Education:
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse school.</li>
</ul>
Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;</li>
<li>Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;</li>
<li>Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe dangerous drugs and controlled substances;</li>
<li>Ability to possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy;</li>
<li>Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations, including, but not limited to registration and use;</li>
<li>Possess and maintain all accreditations, certifications, and credentials necessary and appropriate to enable nurse practitioner to perform, and Company to bill for, the Services;</li>
<li>Remain a Medicare and Medicaid Provider in the State where healthcare services are provided;</li>
<li>Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures;</li>
<li>Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.</li>
</ul>
Reporting to:
<ul>
<li>PMHNPs report to lead PMHNP per location and Chief Medical Officer</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensure</li>
<li>DEA license</li>
<li>Graduation from an accredited educational program for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and successful completion of certification</li>
<li>All certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employment</li>
<li>Demonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnel</li>
<li>Demonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleagues</li>
<li>Maintains patient confidentiality</li>
<li>Compensation is based on experience level</li>
