<li>Represent APCIA at industry and property issue-oriented stakeholder group meetings/forums, while developing and maintaining positive relationships with individuals/organizations engaged in topical issues impacting property insurance.</li>
<li>Analyze the implications of legislative and regulatory proposals for APCIA membership.</li>
<li>Apprise APCIA member companies of relevant legislative and regulatory developments.</li>
<li>Advise and guide APCIA member companies in the development of APCIA policy positions.</li>
<li>Apprise the APCIA state and federal government affairs staff on APCIA policy positions.</li>

Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

<li>- Educational Requirements: College degree, Law degree beneficial; Minimum of five (director) or seven (senior director) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>- Experience: Significant knowledge of research resources and legal research software such as WestLaw and LexisNexis.</li>
