Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities

<li>The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;</li>
<li>Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising (if necessary) facility's clinical guidelines; insuring compliance with state and federal regulations, training facility staff; and supervising facility clinical staff.</li>
<li>In addition to the medical director role, the physician also serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;</li>
<li>The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day to day resident care at each facility. Typically, each facility will have a full-time PA or NP assigned to the facility depending on the acuity and volume of the patient population;</li>
<li>Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;</li>
<li>Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes</li>

Position Highlights:

<li>Average 12 Weekday Day Shifts: 8 Covering L&amp;D, Board Running, Pre-ops, CRNA Relief + 4 Own Cases</li>
<li>8 Weekday Calls per Cycle (7 AM–7 AM; post-call day off or first out)</li>
<li>4 Weekend Day Calls Per Cycle (Sat/Sun, ~10–12 monthly cases)</li>
<li>Diverse Case Mix: Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, General, Podiatry</li>
<li>Low After-Hours Volume: ~10–12 cases monthly after 7 PM</li>
<li>State-of-the-Art Facility: 4 ORs, Da Vinci Xi Robot</li>

Palm Health Resources is actively seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an outstanding locum tenens opportunity in Northern Wisconsin. This full-time assignment is ideal for independent practitioners who enjoy a mix of cases, a collegial environment, and the balance of small-town living with easy access to larger city amenities.
 Assignment Overview:

<li>Start Date: ASAP (approx. 60-day credentialing)</li>
<li>Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00a3:00p or 7:00a4:30p</li>
<li>Call: Rotating night &amp; weekend beeper call (1530 min response)</li>
<li>Setting: Mix of inpatient &amp; outpatient; medically supervised model</li>
<li>Duration: Ongoing, 6+ months preferred</li>
</ul>
 Clinical Scope:
<ul>
<li>General anesthesia, MAC, spinal, epidurals, OB</li>
<li>Bread-and-butter cases: Ortho, GYN, GI, scopes, urology, general surgery, healthy pediatrics</li>
<li>Ventilation &amp; airway management</li>
<li>Central &amp; arterial line placement</li>
<li>No cardiac, complex neuro, or complex vascular</li>
</ul>
 Facility Tools:

<li>Drger anesthesia machines</li>
<li>Omnicell medication dispensing</li>
<li>Cerner EMR</li>
</ul>
 Rates &amp; Contractor Package:
