Your Role:

<li>Conduct comprehensive eye exams using innovative technology, both onsite and through our patented hybrid platform. </li>
<li>Diagnose ocular conditions and create personalized treatment plans. </li>
<li>Educate patients on preventative eye care, including the importance of: </li>
<li>Regular annual eye exams </li>
<li>Sun protection for eye health </li>
<li>Proper contact lens care and wearing current prescription glasses </li>

Health Yeah! is an equity-centered mobile health program that provides primary and behavioral healthcare to Albuquerque public schools through mobile units and a brick-and-mortar clinic. The program is designed to address healthcare disparities, increase access to care for school-aged children and their families, and promote wellness in underserved communities.
 Purpose of the position
 Wellness Equity Alliance seeks a licensed RN in California to provide to oversee clinical operations, care coordination, and quality assurance within the two programs. This position will support services working with youth in our community-based wellness programs. They will work closely with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is provided across mobile and fixed clinic sites. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, which includes behavioral health professionals, community health workers (CHWs), and advanced practice providers (APPs), the RN Manager will facilitate seamless care delivery. Additionally, they will provide direct supervision to medical assistants (MAs), ensuring adherence to clinical best practices and operational efficiency.
 This unique and meaningful position offers the opportunity to serve vulnerable populations, from youth to incarcerated adults, and support clinical growth and service excellence within a trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care &amp; Program Oversight

<li>Provide direct clinical care, including physical assessments, vaccinations, medication administration, and chronic disease management for school-aged children and their families.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with CDC, state, and organizational protocols for vaccine handling, medication storage, and infection control.</li>

Community Engagement &amp; Public Health Initiatives

<li>In collaboration with Operation Manager, represent Health Yeah! at school-based health events, community forums, and public health outreach activities.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Operation Manager, develop and implement preventative health initiatives tailored to school communities, including immunization drives and mental health awareness campaigns.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Operation Manager and Director of Operations, build strong partnerships with local healthcare providers, educational institutions, and social service organizations to expand service capacity and improve referral pathways.</li>

Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must possess an active, unrestricted RN license in the state of California.</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in community health, school health, public health, or pediatrics.</li>
<li>Experience supervising medical assistants or other clinical staff is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience as a Nurse Manager</li>
<li>Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.</li>
<li>Experience with case management, care coordination, or population health is a plus.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent healthcare, including immunizations and chronic disease management.</li>
<li>Experience working with diverse and underserved communities with a commitment to health equity and social justice.</li>
<li>Knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavioral health integration, and harm reduction strategies.</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Strong communication and patient engagement skills, with the ability to build trust within school communities.</li>
