Essential Key Job Responsibilities:

The Essentia Primary Care Physician works as a leader of a Care Team.&nbsp; Utilizing Essentia Care Processes, the physician works collaboratively with other health care team members to achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients and families.

We are building a team of 4 MD’s and 4 Nurse Practitioners to inhabit a new, 24 exam room, state-of-the-art facility.

Our Grand Rapids team works in close collaboration with existing Deer River team (20 minutes away).

Call = Hospitalist Call:&nbsp; Approximately, 1 week, every 6 weeks.&nbsp; Hospitalists serve as backup after ER docs.

Clinic work in Grand Rapids.&nbsp; Hospitalist work done at Essentia Health, Deer River Hospital; a modern, 20 bed, Critical Access Hospital with 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage.

Hospitalist Coverage:&nbsp; 3-4 day stretch, every 6 weeks – done in Deer River.

Many of the people we serve have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. They may have a history of failed placements and need a highly structured environment to succeed.

Provides superior customer service; key working relationships include all Grand Itasca Clinic &amp; Hospital services, including patients, Physicians, clinical staff with the goal of exceeding the customer's expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Satisfactorily completed an accredited 2-year Electronic Tech Training program or an Associate Degree (or higher) in BMET Tech program. 2. Knowledge of NFPA codes, JCAHO requirements, performance verification, preventive maintenance and repair maintenance techniques and procedures. 3. Experience in the use of medical equipment, biomedical test equipment, and electronic test equipment. 4. Attends and actively participates in compliance training, demonstrates understanding of the compliance program. 5. Able to gather, rationalize, evaluate and dispense data or for problem solving requiring repairs or actions taken. 6. Must possess appropriate, valid driver's license and meet requirements and ability to be covered under Grand Itasca's automotive insurance policy. 7.
