As a Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll provide direct, client-centered mental health services such as individual and group skills training in a school-based setting. You’ll work closely in collaboration with the treatment team to design and implement personalized treatment plans, maintain detailed documentation, and coordinate services across multiple systems of care.
 
Your role will be vital in improving the emotional, social, and educational functioning of clients—while being a trusted partner to families, schools, and other community stakeholders.
 Key Responsibilities
Collaboration &amp; Communication

<li>Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication, both written and verbal.</li>

Documentation &amp; Training

<li>Accurately complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency timelines and billing guidelines.</li>

<li>Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and mandatory reporting.</li>

The Veteran files the claim before they see you. All of their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal and you will be able to review these during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits.
Audiologist will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices.
This position will review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Schedule: 3 consistent days/week | M-F: 8am-5pm
This is an IN-PERSON position that offers: 1 hour to 1 hour &amp; 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales
