Essential duties and responsibilities:

<li>Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language</li>
<li>Registered Nurse provides professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Units of TPC</li>
<li>Responsible for the care and treatment of assigned clients in accordance with accepted nursing and medical standards</li>
<li>Works closely with all TPC treatment team members and community partners to attend to the psychiatric needs of clients</li>
<li>Interacts with clients in a person-centered trauma-informed manner and provides direct services in the area of medication, mental health education and care coordination</li>
<li>Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised</li>
</ul>
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in nursing from an accredited program</li>
<li>Work experience as an RN in a recognized health agency, hospital, or health care facility</li>
<li>Licensed through the Texas State Board of Nursing Examiner (TXBNE) as a Registered Nurse (RN)</li>
<li>License must be current and in good standing</li>
<li>Must be able to demonstrate compliance with a TXBNE’s rules and regulations to maintain required license</li>

<li>Supervise and provide leadership and discipline to clinical and non-clinical team members.</li>
<li>Participate with members of the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident’s care.</li>
<li>Document the resident’s condition and nursing needs accurately and in a timely manner. Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Execute treatments as necessary while document status and observes reactions to medications and treatments.</li>
<li>Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to deliver quality customer service.</li>
<li>Plan resident admission as ordered by physician, perform assessment, verify orders with physician, and notify pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments, as necessary.</li>
<li>Introduce an accurate and thorough report to the on-coming shift to ensure the continuity of maximum resident care.</li>
</ul>
