Also we don't just handle the old and broken, but we do shiny new doors too! Our door techs can have the fun of installing those new door systems as well. <li>Complete work thoroughly to achieve 95% or higher FTFR (First time fix rate)</li>
<li>Follow field testing procedures accurately</li>
<li>Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and failures in the field in through dispatch in Online Remedy (OLR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software</li>
<li>Provide complete and accurate information about the inspections and steps taken to make the repair per department work practices</li>
<li>Inspect newly installed equipment on site where necessary</li>

Customer Service (primary):
<ul>
<li>Schedule and perform field service work assigned by Customer Tech Support (CTS) staff</li>
<li>Log all service claims in OLR within 24 hours of work completed</li>
<li>Answer field technician service calls, diagnose and set service remedy into motion</li>
<li>Maintain an accurate inventory of service parts and perform quarterly audits</li>
<li>Discuss, present and close service contracts and special programs being offered for customers</li>
<li>Discuss with customer continued Service when product is no longer under warranty</li>
<li>Discuss new products with customers</li>
<li>Keep sales informed of upcoming purchases customers are planning</li>

Management Support:
<ul>
<li>Provide accurate service reports to management when requested</li>
<li>Frequent communication with Regional Supervisor, Senior Tech, Customer Tech Support, Quality, and Sustaining Engineering teams to assure high levels of quality and design of JHTNA products.</li>
<li>Report to the manager or supervisor if customer is having any issues that should be addressed at a higher level</li>

Requirements:
Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>College degree in related field preferred</li>
<li>Additional training in commercial fitness industry or combination of education and experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or service role required</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of technical and mechanical problem solving preferred</li>
<li>Working knowledge of commercial fitness industry preferred</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and similar communication related software</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft CRM (Customer Relationship Management)</li>

About the role
We are looking for asenior platform engineer to drive the core platform, infrastructure, and developer tooling behind our products. This role is both hands-on and strategic: you will design and implement core systems, define the platform roadmap, and work across engineering teams to ensure we have a secure, reliable, and scalable foundation.
 
Youll report directly to the CTO and be trusted to identify problems, set direction, and execute solutions without day-to-day oversight. Youll partner with engineering managers across PHP, Python, and mobile/web platforms, but you will be responsible for the architectural vision and execution across the company.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design and implement complex and critical backend systems such as payment processing and authentication systems in the core Wag backend application</li>
<li>Design cross-platform and cross-team system architecture</li>
<li>Design and implement efficient build and deployment pipelines, containerization (Docker, Gitlab CI/CD), and developer tooling to improve productivity</li>
<li>Incorporate AI powered solutions to support platform quality and developer productivity</li>
<li>Define and maintain the platform roadmap, balancing reliability, developer productivity, technical debt, and cost</li>
<li>Design the bug detection and triage tooling and procedures</li>
<li>Contribute infrastructure as code using Terraform</li>
<li>Design and drive incident response procedures including observability and on-call tooling</li>
<li>Serve as a trusted technical owner for key backend systems</li>
<li>Mentor engineers on infrastructure and platform best practices</li>

Qualifications

<li>Willingness to roll up your sleeves and move from planning to execution with a small team</li>

<li>Familiarity with PHP and Python</li>
<li>Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipeline design</li>
<li>Expertise designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure; ideally in AWS</li>
<li>Proficiency with Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools) for managing infrastructure</li>
