Summary
This individual is on the front line, ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to requests for onsite service at customer locations in their assigned territory. 
This position requires daily travel throughout the assigned service territory and includes benefits like a company supplied vehicle (for work use only), essential tools, and per diem if overnight travel is required.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Ensuring customer needs are met for any Point of Sale hardware. Examples include: computers, servers, printers, scales and wrappers, network equipment, wireless devices, self-checkout, etc. </li>
<li>Responding to issues that are reported with the appropriate troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and thorough testing of equipment.</li>
<li>Keep customers updated, ensuring service calls are documented accurately with comprehensive details, as well as ensure any materials used are appropriately accounted for. </li>
<li>Willing to travel when needed (limited overnight travel) and maintain ability to work regular hours, as well as after-hours availability when needed.</li>
<li>Willing to learn, adapt and expand personal knowledge in the ever-changing world of Point of Sale technology.</li>

 This Is Not Your Average Tech Job Are you a hands-on I.T. or Telecom professional looking for something beyond the desk? AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks one day you might be installing an operating system, the next you're drilling through walls and running structured cabling across entire buildings, or terminating a 66-block. If you're the kind of person who thrives in the field and loves the variety that comes with every job site, this opportunity is for you. Job Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Perform a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup</li>
<li>Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)</li>
<li>Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate</li>
<li>Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients</li>
<li>Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills &amp; Experience 
<ul>
<li>PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)</li>
<li>At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following:
<ul>
<li>A+ Certification</li>
<li>Network+ Certification</li>
<li>OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom</li>
</ul>

Required Equipment &amp; Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Reliable personal vehicle (Public transportation not accepted)</li>
<li>Valid drivers license</li>
<li>Must have a standard set of tools for basic I.T. and networking tasks (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).</li>
<li>Laptop with Ethernet port</li>
<li>Smartphone with mobile hotspot</li>
<li>Ability to accept job assignments based on your availability; being on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.</li>
<li>Punctual, courteous, and presentable</li>
</ul>
