Job Overview: A laser operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines. This role involves interpreting design specifications, setting up the laser equipment, and programming it to cut materials such as metal. Laser operators need to monitor the machine's performance, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality in the finished products. Attention to detail, knowledge of laser technology, and the ability to work with computer-aided design (CAD) software are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Set up, operate and troubleshoot a laser</li>
<li>Read blueprints, work orders or production schedules</li>
<li>Use tools to ensure efficiency and correct operation of the machine</li>
<li>Use laser cutting and punching machines that make metal shapes and holes to fit other parts</li>
<li>Ensure production of all parts meet quality standards by utilizing internal quality processes and SOP.</li>
<li>Assist with material breakout and movement of parts to next production area when assigned</li>
<li>Perform other tasks as assigned and required.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools</li>
<li>Have good math ability and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints efficiently</li>
<li>Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Demonstrate safety in the laser operation process.</li>

<li>Perform a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to:

<li>OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup</li>

<li>Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate</li>

Preferred Skills &amp; Experience

<li>PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)</li>
<li>At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following:

<li>A+ Certification</li>
<li>Network+ Certification</li>
<li>OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom</li>
</ul>

Summary
This individual is on the front line, ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to requests for onsite service at customer locations in their assigned territory. 
This position requires daily travel throughout the assigned service territory and includes benefits like a company supplied vehicle (for work use only), essential tools, and per diem if overnight travel is required.
Responsibilities

<li>Ensuring customer needs are met for any Point of Sale hardware. Examples include: computers, servers, printers, scales and wrappers, network equipment, wireless devices, self-checkout, etc. </li>
<li>Responding to issues that are reported with the appropriate troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and thorough testing of equipment.</li>
<li>Keep customers updated, ensuring service calls are documented accurately with comprehensive details, as well as ensure any materials used are appropriately accounted for. </li>
<li>Willing to travel when needed (limited overnight travel) and maintain ability to work regular hours, as well as after-hours availability when needed.</li>
