Founding Extended Learning Teacher Job Description
 
The Extended Learning Teacher is responsible for ensuring students are safe, learning, and excited about the program each day. In coordination with the Extended Learning Coordinator, the Extended Learning Teacher works to ensure students have an organized and robust afterschool program. Major Duties:

Brain Balance Achievement Centers seeks a dynamic, motivated individual to guide specific reading and math skills to school-aged children with learning disabilities, assist children through various activities that will stimulate a specific hemisphere of the brain, and support families as they participate in the program. Experience with coaching or teaching children with special needs is a plus to lead and drive each student in our Sensory Motor and cognitive rooms. Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who have disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, Dyslexia and Processing Disorders. This is an ideal and rewarding position for those who enjoy working with children and watching children succeed in the classroom, on the playground, and at home.
