Your Role as a Special Education Teacher:
<ul>
<li>IEP Development &amp; Instruction - Create and implement IEPs, lesson plans, and instructional strategies that meet each student's individual needs and goals. </li>
<li>Documentation &amp; Reporting - Timely submission of IEPs, progress reports, and evaluation documentation. </li>
<li>Collaboration &amp; Communication - Partner with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to support student success. </li>
<li>Classroom Management &amp; Behavior Support - Maintain a structured learning environment using behavior management and intervention strategies. </li>
<li>Assessment &amp; Progress Monitoring - Track student progress through evaluations, assessments, and behavioral data collection. </li>
<li>Safety &amp; Compliance - Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and confidentiality, while supporting students' self-care needs. </li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li> Active PA Teaching Certification is required, such as a Private Academic Certificate or Level I/II PA Instructional Special Education Certification (K-12). </li>
<li> All New Story Teachers must have their PA teaching license in place by August 1, 2025. </li>
<li> Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. </li>
