Keene State College is seeking applications for the position of Early Childhood Teacher. 
Summary of Position 
he Child Development Center at Keene State College invites applications for an Early Childhood Teacher 
in the preschool classroom (a multi-age grouping of sixteen 2.9 to 4.11-year-olds) to work in partnership 
with the center staff to achieve highest standards of quality for children, families and college students. 
This is a benefited, 89%-time position with appointment dates from early-August to mid-June each year. 
The Child Development Center (CDC), located on the Keene State College campus in Elliot Center, is a 
demonstration early childhood education site for Keene State College students, practicing professionals, 
and young children and their families. The Center strives to model best practices by offering nurturing 
environments where young children are encouraged to explore, to be creative, to cultivate positive 
relationships, to experience the joy of learning, and to develop a sense of community. 
The CDC is a dynamic learning community dedicated to providing excellent practical experiences 
for students studying to enter the teaching profession, or a related profession, with young children. 
Undergraduate and graduate students are offered supervised experiences under the guidance of early 
childhood professionals, in the direct education and care of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged 
children. Through collaboration, the CDC staff contributes to an educational environment that encourages

Under the guidance of the center director, the successful candidate will plan, implement and model best
