Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Participates in the instruction and functions of a variety of fitness programs and monitors the activities of an assigned area. </li>
<li>Assists in developing new fitness programs and/or procedures to ensure efficient implementation of Rec-Plex activities.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively to answer questions and concerns. </li>
<li>Assists staff with handling difficult situations and makes judgments on how to direct concerns to ensure optimal outcome.</li>
<li>Performs general janitorial duties as needed and maintains equipment, facility and environment in a safe and sanitary condition.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications or desired qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be 18 years or older</li>
<li>High School graduate or GED certificate</li>
<li>Experience in teaching swim lessons (desired qualification)</li>
<li>First Aid and CPR/AED Certification (desired qualification)</li>
</ul>
