Facilities maintenance:

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Diploma or certificate in industrial mechanics, millwrighting, electrician or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years of experience as maintenance mechanic.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical systems</li>
<li>Knowledge of controls and PLCs is an asset</li>
<li>Familiarity with operating CNC controls and diagnosing CNC control issues</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals</li>
<li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment</li>
<li>Knowledge and ability in welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG)</li>
<li>Forklift, Scissor Lift Certification</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and or move objects of at least 50 lbs</li>
<li>Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, crawl in/through low spaces on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Able to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative.</li>
<li>Must exhibit sound judgment, tact, courtesy on a daily basis, and have excellent rapport with staff members</li>
<li>Aptitude for organizing tasks, managing time and prioritizing projects</li>
<li>Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and precision</li>
<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Self-motivated and self-directed</li>
<li>Knowledge of safety standards and practices in an industrial setting.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
