We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to operate an on-road service truck (bay on wheels) and assist customers with warranties, preventive maintenance, and repair services on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. This role is a Tuesday-Saturday opportunity. This role requires traveling to customer facilities or distribution centers to deliver high-quality mobile service.
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles in a field environment.</li>
<li>Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck systems, including:</li>

<li>Electrical, wiring, and cooling systems</li>
<li>Starters, alternators, fan clutches, and engine electronics</li>
<li>Air conditioning systems</li>
<li>Diesel and gas engines, transmissions (manual/automatic), clutches, differentials</li>

<li>Collect and document repair information; communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.</li>

<li>Complete all DOT and company documentation accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Maintain and operate a company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.</li>
<li>Work independently, managing your own schedule and productivity while meeting Standard Repair Times.</li>
<li>Use logic and reasoning to troubleshoot, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Mechanical repair experience 2 years minimum (diesel, automotive, or related field).</li>
<li>Willingness to learn about our products and systems.</li>
<li>Self-motivated with strong initiative.</li>
<li>Clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card.</li>

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures</li>
<li>Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment</li>
<li>Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.</li>
<li>Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed</li>
<li>Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs</li>
<li>Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5+ years of Service Technician experience required</li>
<li>ASE Certification required</li>
<li>A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair</li>
<li>Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies</li>
<li>Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills</li>
<li>Basic computer skills</li>
<li>Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality</li>
<li>Enjoy working in a dynamic environment</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively</li>
<li>Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications</li>
<li>Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment</li>
<li>Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record</li>
