<h3>Job Description</h3>
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintain and remodel garden and landscape areas as requested. Graffiti clean-up, outside window washing, and remove litter from outside areas. Clean rain gutters, roof drains and external facilities. Operates trucks, power industrial equipment such as electric carts, lawn mowers, weed whackers, hedge trimmer, and pressure washers. Performs routine maintenance on irrigation systems and other related work as required.
Part-Time, On call - This position and all individuals in this role are represented by UNITE HERE! Local19. 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, rake leaves, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls and rake leaves.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Sod laying, mowing, trimming the grass areas of the facilities.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Plant, pick and trim seasonal flowers, and clean flower beds.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Plan and cultivate lawns and gardens watering.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edges.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Gather and remove litter.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Sprinkler and irrigation piping repairs</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Clean rain gutters and roof drains</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Gas powered pressure washing</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Graffiti Cleanup</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Digging and shoveling dirt</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Window washing</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Other duties will be assign as needed</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Operate/drives powered industrial truck including Cushman</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Safety vests must be worn if employee is exposed to public vehicular traffic. </li>
</ul>
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>At least 5 years of progressive experience with landscaping</li>
<li>Required valid and current California Driver’s License to drive company vehicles without restrictions.</li>
<li>Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., walking, standing, and traveling, working outside in various weather, couching, bending, and stooping constantly.</li>
<li>Must be available to work various shifts, including holiday and evenings</li>
<li>Ability to follow safety practices and procedures </li>
<li>Must have knowledge of maintaining flower gardens and outdoor facilities.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge on the safety of handling gardening tools and supplies</li>
<li>Ability to follow oral and written instruction in English</li>
<li>Ability to drive and operate forklifts various lifts</li>
<li>Valid certification of forklifts and or other lifts preferred.</li>
