<li>Learn the truck deals system, basic finance functions, and have an understanding of PA title work </li>
<li>Be an authorized notary and complete Penn Dot vehicle class</li>
<li>Fill in, as needed, for title clerk</li>
<li>Update online and print advertisements on a daily/weekly basis. Monitor resulting phone calls and results</li>
<li>Report results to sales manager(s). Use that data to make recommendations regarding advertising effectiveness, stock truck demand, and our team’s effectiveness in following through with a deal</li>
<li>Coordinate truck transportation to body companies, customers, and other Hunter locations</li>

The Medical Records Clerk/Scheduler will be supporting our PACE Clinic. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for scanning documents, updating the electronic health record, requesting records from specialists and hospitals, scheduling outside specialist appointments, uploading documents into the electronic medical record and responding to release of information (ROI) requests. As part of this role, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, able to multi task, detail-orientated, analytical skills and have the ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for all aspects of scheduling and coordinating outside appointments for participants. Communicates with outside providers to set up appointments as requested by PACE providers. When appropriate, schedules transportation and an escort. Provides timely notification to the participant of the appointment and all appropriate details. 
· Manages rescheduling for cancellations appointments at the request of providers and/or patients.
· Maintains and files medical records in the EMR for each participant enrolled in the LIFE PACE program. Participant medical records should be complete, accurate, easily retrievable, systematically organized, and available to staff and participants when requested.
· Ensures data and information is accurate and complete (for name, spelling, signatures, dates, etc.) according to medical record documentation standards. 
· Obtain signatures for changes in authorizations to release protected health information. 
· Process requests for medical records. Provides for the prompt transfer of copies of appropriate medical record information between treatment facilities to ensure continuity of care. 
· Monitors all active participant records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Makes corrections as necessary. 
· Attends and participates in morning meetings, staff meetings, in-services and projects and committees as assigned. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required or assigned.
· Brings participant requests for additional services to an IDT member as soon as possible upon request.
· Adheres to and supports the organization’s policies, practices and procedures.
· Accepts assigned duties cooperatively and performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

As our direct care staff work with youth that are 18-24 years old, we require that applicants are at least 25 years old.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is often the first encounter a young person, staff, donor or community member experiences of Covenant house California. It is expected that this position can manage competing priorities, bring a positive and engaging attitude of customer service and willingness to help answer phone calls, manage visitors, welcome young people off of the streets and interface with our community partners. The Youth Services Clerk is also responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors, as well as the physical property of Covenant House California within the framework of the agency Mission Statement, Five Principles, and the Policies and Procedures. This position is required to adhere to all agency policies/procedures and practices (time/attendance, cell phone, telecommunications, safety, remaining awake/alert, etc). 
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt 40 hours per week, Evening Shift 3:30pm-12am
PAY RATE: $20/hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide professional “customer service” at all times, including on phone calls, interactions with youth, staff, vendors and on the CHC paging system. 
2. Be the first point of contact with all youth coming into the agency. Make sure all youth are checked in properly through the metal detectors and that all personal items have been checked.
3. Engage in positive interaction with all youth, CHC staff, outside vendors and guests, however, the Youth Safety Advocate is not a counseling position and as such, should not engage in counseling with the youth.
4. Monitor reception desk including answering phones with professional courtesy, directing callers to appropriate extensions or parties, and greeting residents, staff, guests.
5. Monitor entrance and activity in all buildings through the use of foot patrol and surveillance equipment. Report unusual and/or suspicious activities/events to management staff or person in charge (PIC).
6. Perform rounds to ensure sanctuary is maintained. Rounds should be completed as often as directed by supervisor (minimum every 60 minutes).
A. Internal Checks ? Assure all appropriate doors are locked. ? Report any damage/maintenance needs. ? Ensure that only appropriate persons are allowed access to the facility.
B. External Checks ? Check perimeter for inappropriate activity. ? Report any damage/maintenance needs. ? Ensure for safety of agency and personal vehicles.
7. Work with youth in situations, such as, assisting staff to resolve conflicts, inspecting resident belongings, and other duties as assigned. Use de-escalation techniques as necessary or summon help from staff or call 911 to protect residents and/or staff from harm. Assist as appropriate in any emergency situations and during crisis interventions. 
8. Maintain an ongoing log of activity throughout the shift, (including inspection rounds/foot patrol) and document any Critical Incidents. All documentation should be filed appropriately at the end of the shift.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by Management Staff and/or CHC Executive Staff, function as back-up coverage, as assigned;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Must have a current California State issued Guard Card or be willing to get one.
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years working with homeless or at-risk youth/young adults in a residential setting preferred.
SKILLS: Must have good organizational skills and the ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form with others. Knowledge of Security procedures.

Job description: Responsible for communication at the rehab nursing station with families, nurses and other allied health individuals by phone, email, or fax. Responsible for assisting patients and/or families in setting up follow up outpatient appointments and transportation to and from appointments. Responsible for keeping the station organized and tidy throughout the day.

Position Impact and Purpose…
The Teacher Aide position is responsible for assisting the Center Teacher in the education, safety, and well-being of children/families enrolled in the Early Childhood Program. They will also assist in the development and utilization of integrated curriculum plans, which reflect mandated elements and components, parental and cultural influences, and promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children to provide quality services of education.  Teacher Aides will assist in the cleaning/sanitizing of the classroom, follow the active supervision policy when responsible for children, prepare meals and follow policies/procedures for mealtimes, and assist with diapering/toileting learning skills.  Some Teacher Aides will be designated to ride the school bus and be responsible for assisting the bus driver in the transportation of children.  Some Teacher Aides will have childcare duties.  They are responsible for the opening or closing of the classroom, submitting sign-in sheets to the Enrollment Clerk at the end of each day, collecting childcare fees from families, and reminding caregivers to complete TAPS on the tablet for ODJFS reimbursement.

 ·         Supervise and monitor children at all times and employ active supervision techniques as outlined in the Early Childhood Supervision of Children procedure 09.03.00.47 shall only discharge a child to someone listed on the child’s emergency card.
 ·         Willing to engage in professional development efforts with a minimum of 15 hours of related training per year.
 ·         Assist in meal preparation, removal of food waste and clean up. Will take trash to dumpster and sweep the floor.
 ·         Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings to plan and deliver collaborative services across all service areas.
 ·         Respond appropriately to crisis or emergency situations.
 ·         Assist in giving other center staff time for breaks while maintaining staff/child ratio. Hours may vary from 5:45 am to 6:15 pm. Will be expected to substitute for other team members to ensure the provision of services and to maintain staff/child ratio.

 ·         Will utilize intentional teaching strategies throughout the day to encourage experimentation, exploration, problem solving, making choices, cooperation, and socialization. Shall ask open ended questions and listen respectfully.
 ·         Assist in preparing classroom materials to support developmentally appropriate curriculum plans; create and change learning centers as needed.
 ·         Assist in documenting ongoing assessments according to Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, School Readiness Goals, the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards.
 ·         Conduct daily health checks to ensure that children are free from communicable diseases.
 ·         Complete all required tracking of information and documentation attendance records and all other essential records required by the program in a timely and comprehensive manner.
 ·         Assist individual and group needs, attending to special needs, specific interests, strengths and concerns. Assist in the adaptation of the curriculum to address and meet individual goals for children as identified in the Individual Education Plans (IEP), Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP), and/or assessment information.
 ·         Must engage in appropriate interactions and use appropriate language with children. Shall greet each child at arrival and departure.
 ·         Assist Center Teacher in establishing weekly goals that promote individual and group education plans and include safety, dental, nutrition, and mental health activities.
 ·         Act as liaison between the Center Teacher and the parent. Shall assist the Center Teacher with educating parents on the importance of prevention, early interaction and well childcare. Shall encourage parents to provide documentation of all health-related appointments.

 ·         Assist in distribution and collection of children’s papers and Teacher/parent messages.

 ·         Must handle confidential information in accordance with agency policy.

Position is in a well-lighted classroom with up to 20 preschool age children (3-5 years old) or up to 8 infant and toddler children. Work is fast paced and requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stoop and bend to interact with children on their level. Must be willing to engage in professional development efforts, including occasional overnight stays, as available to the position and requested by the supervisor. This work can involve moderate to high levels of stress.
