This position requires a person who is committed to developing strong working relationships with children, understanding their unique needs and responding to these needs in a collaborative, empowering and problem-solving manner. Duties include direct classroom instruction for approximately 8-10 students; classroom instruction using a web-based program for approximately 8-10 students; individual instruction and tutoring of students based on individual need, assessment, and educational planning; overseeing Individual Education Plan (IEP) planning for clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to teamwork are essential. 
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree; a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education is preferred. A license from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for Special Education for grades 9-12 is required.
