Job Title:  Community Habilitation Aide/Adult Day Training Support Staff (DSP)
Qualifications:  Must be at least 18 years of age with a High school Diploma/GED or 21 years of age with one year of experience in DDID preferred; Submit to and pass a criminal record check and a drug screen test; Valid social security card or valid work permit for non US citizens; Valid driver license with no moving traffic violations.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am until close. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
This position reports directly to the Community Habilitation Instructor and/or Program Director.
Summary of Job Duties:  This position provides support, training and intervention in the areas of self care, daily living skills, social skills, safety skills, communication, etc. in order to enable an individual to participate in and utilize community resources and participate in daily meaningful routines in the community.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Furnish supports in a non-residential setting (excludes family homes, group homes, staffed residences, or the individual’s home).  This may require transportation of the individual in personal vehicle.</li>
<li>Provide supports which enable an individual to:</li>

<li>Access and utilize community resources such as transportation, translator, communication assistance, and companion services.</li>
