Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has some exciting openings for Registered Nurses (RNs). Qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates will be self-motivated, able to work independently and cohesively with a team and demonstrate compassionate care.  
Sign-On Bonus: $5000 for Full-Time / $2500 for Part-time (3+ days / week)
Rates start at $27.00 per/hour and vary based on prior experience and differential according to shift selected.
Current Opportunities: 
**All positions include every other weekend, unless specifically indicated:
1st Shift - 6:30am - 3:00pm
Full-time and Part-time available
2nd Shift - 2:45pm - 11:15pm
Full-time and Part-time available
3rd Shift - 11:00pm -7:30am
Part-Time available
PRN/Pool available on all 3 shifts
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
<ul>
<li>Participate in change of shift report. </li>
<li>Obtain necessary information from CNA's and properly document and communicate all information.</li>
<li>Direct &amp; supervise Certified Nursing Assistants.</li>
<li>Precisely administer and document medications, treatments, and conditions of residents. </li>
<li>Re-positions and/or transfers, as well as transports residents. This includes using available mechanical aids and additional staff according to established QPRC policy and practice.</li>
<li>Continually assess resident's health status; reports and documents changes appropriately.</li>
</ul>
Position Requirements include:
<ul>
<li>Long Term Care Experience a plus</li>
<li>Current Valid Pennsylvania RN license </li>
<li>Degree from a State Approved Nursing School</li>
<li>Current CPR Certification (will train)</li>

Summary
The RN develops, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans. The nurse may also provide direct patient care to the patients in a clinical setting. The nurse will be expected to assess and analyze patients within their scope of practice.
 Education
Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Nursing

<li>Provide high-quality health care services. Assist Providers and Professional Nurses in routine health care (documenting accurate patient data in EHR).</li>
<li>Take vital signs and records, collect specimens, analyze or prepare for transport, and maintain patient and informational confidentiality if needed.</li>
<li>Clean examination rooms after each patient, maintain a clean and orderly working environment, and administer medication.</li>
<li>Prepare patients for examination, assist with treatments, and assist in patient education with EHR.</li>
<li>Assist in the maintenance of a patient tracking system and maintain patient health records with the EHR System.</li>
<li>Demonstrate professional etiquette at all times, including answering phones, and addressing patients, staff, and visitors. Administer first aid and emergencies.</li>
<li>Comply with all RHMPI policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure Manuals.</li>
<li>Participates in Patient-Centered Medical Home Care Team collaboration to promote and nurture the culture and infrastructure that makes PCMH successful.</li>
<li>Performs additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor’s approval.</li>

Working Conditions
This position requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for easy and skillful use of hands when working with and performing normal office duties and responsibilities. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach with hands and arms frequently. Good listening skills are necessary to receive detailed information via oral and or written communication(s) and to make objective nondiscrimination decisions. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, verify written materials' accuracy, and accurately prepare and administer medications.
Language Skills/ Specialized Skills

<li>Ability to read, speak effectively, analyze, and interpret documents.</li>
<li>Must be able to collect accurate patient data and document it in the EHR System. Must be able to perform all clinical nursing tasks under the supervision of an RHMPI Physician or Quality Coordinator/Director of Nursing. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.</li>

Computer Skills
Proficient in document creation and utilization of specific computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) and other tools such as Canva, Prezi, and Poster my Call, Electronic Health Records, Population Health Management Systems. Proficient in software implementations and management preferred. *
