As a Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
<ul>
<li>Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and schools</li>
<li>Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care</li>
<li>Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes to physician</li>
<li>Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients</li>
<li>Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment  </li>
</ul>
A few must-haves for Registered Nurses:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Minnesota</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical facility</li>
<li>CPR certification </li>
<li>Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations</li>
<li>Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate</li>
