The Psychiatric Crisis Center has been working to expand by offering bilingual/bicultural services at our Woodburn office. The Mental Health Specialist in this position will provide crisis assessments to individuals in need as well as case management, resource identification, and referral options. This position will require a motivated individual to learn about the available community services to provide mental health well-being. The individual in this position will possess a desire to be creative in matching individuals to available services while educating the community about the various services we provide at the Crisis Center. This position provides services to monolingual Spanish-speaking individuals; therefore, fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Crisis Clinician 2: Provide assessments and treatment of individuals and families, including groups; provides crisis assessment and intervention services and related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this class is to provide assessment and treatment services; crisis intervention, and treatment services, including intensive services, to individuals and their families with complex needs and diagnoses and/or to develop and implement specific services in the community.
Crisis Clinician 1: Plans and carries out recreational, social and skills training activities; performs case management and counseling functions with Adults in Custody (AIC); facilitates counseling and/or skills training groups; performs related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this class is case management and counseling, without responsibility for developing and implementing specific programs in the community.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Crisis Clinician 2 and 1: Works under the supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED Crisis Clinician 2 and 1: Supervision of others is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. Crisis Clinician 2 may act as Clinical Supervisor designee when needed. May assist in the supervision of practicum students and/or volunteers.
Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following
Counseling to Crisis Clients: Provide counseling by telephone or in-person to individuals and/or their families or concerned others. Intervene with both children and adults. Presenting problems covering the full range of personal needs and include thoughts/plans or violence toward others, and major psychiatric illness. Because of the wide spectrum of presenting problems, it is necessary to have a comprehensive knowledge of psychopathology and to be able to draw upon a wide range of therapeutic strategies in counseling. This work is done at two different locations each day (at the Salem Hospital Emergency Dept. and at PCC), so driving is required.
Assessment of Mental Status: Perform independent assessment of mental status, diagnosis, level of functioning, dangerousness, and specific needs for service. Screen individual for psychiatric hospitalization.
Planning Development: Develop plan with client/family to address immediate needs and plans to obtain services. If client is unwilling to seek services, make decisions regarding involuntary commitment based on dangerousness and ability to care for self.
Community Coordination: Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies in order to make referrals appropriately. See that clients gain access to the services they need, and do follow-up work as needed, to make certain that client's needs are being met.

<li>Advocacy for Client's Rights: Provide advocacy for client rights, ethical consideration, needs for service and least restrictive care-intervention.</li>
<li>Requests for information: Respond to requests for information regarding clients not currently in the CSS, requiring a thorough knowledge of laws governing the release of confidential information.</li>
<li>Attend monthly PCC team meeting.</li>

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Crisis Clinician 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Crisis Clinician 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Crisis Clinician 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Crisis Clinician 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Crisis Clinician 1. (One-year of work experience is equal to 2080 hours)

About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving (the "Director") is responsible for the design, strategy, and implementation of The Taft School annual fund program. The Director will join a highly collaborative team, working with key staff, campus-wide partners, and volunteers to implement a strategic annual fund program to maximize Taft community philanthropy.
This position will supervise the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, the Leadership Annual Gift Officer, the Annual Giving Coordinator, and will have the ability to hire one additional member of the team. The Director will have the opportunity to assess and set forth a plan of action for a group of 500+ Class Agents and will also work with a robust and exceptional Parents Committee.
Taft is seeking a Director who will think strategically and bring an analytic approach to the annual fund, with an ability to better integrate the fund into the overarching development program. <li>Provides Mental Health Assessments and Child &amp; Adolescent Needs &amp; Strengths (CANS) screenings for children entering protective custody. Provides annual CANS screenings for children in protective custody.</li>
<li>Provides individual, family and group therapy services. Completes intake mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues. Completes and updates an individual service plan. Obtains and maintains competence in all screening and assessment tools required by the county. Provides case management and outreach services to clients. Assists clients and families with developing skills to access community supports/resources and to advocate for themselves. Assists with making referrals for services.</li>
<li>Provides level of care determinations and eligibility reviews for youth being referred to the Wraparound Program. Presents cases at the System of Care Review Committee, which include eligibility recommendations.</li>
<li>Participates in individual service plan development in collaboration with the treatment team and other community providers. Ensures the collaborative development, periodic review and revision of an individual service plan. Provides service coordination to assist families in accessing formal and informal supports and services; facilitating communication between the family, natural supports, community resources, and involved child-serving providers and agencies; participates in team meetings at which strengths and needs are identified and safety planning occurs; and provides for continuity of care by creating linkages to, and managing transitions between levels of care, and transitions of older youth to the adult service system.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation and documents services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements and maintains acceptable level of productivity for these requirements. Expectation is that employee will strive for 60% of work hours on average to be billable hours with a minimum of 50% billable hours on average each month.</li>
<li>Provides consultation, training, &amp; orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.</li>
<li>Develops a proactive safety/crisis plan; ensures intervention to meet safety needs of children.</li>
<li>Attends treatment reviews and discharge planning staffings at hospitals, residential centers and day treatment programs to develop discharge/transition plans for the return of the child to the community.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Mental Health Therapist 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Mental Health Therapist 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Mental Health Specialist 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Mental Health Specialist 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Mental Health Specialist 1. Public Relations Coordinator Recovery Resource Council (RRC) is seeking a full-time Public Relations Coordinator for Texas HHSC’s Prevention Resource Center Region 3 (PRC3). The PRC3’s goal is to identify local community and county resources in each of the nineteen North Texas counties we serve, especially as it pertains to the risk and protective factors affecting youth substance use.
The Public Relations Coordinator will cultivate local, county, and regional relationships to support prevention programming and assist in regional needs assessment data collection. Responsibilities include: 1) creating and maintaining a database of resources and contact with those resources; 2) initiating contacts with community leaders and key stakeholders within the region; 3) promoting community and school participation in PRC activities through one-on-one meetings and presentations; 4) organizing/hosting trainings for Region 3 community members or professionals; 5) maintaining a media presence through various social media platforms or other marketing tools i.e. billboards, podcasts, newsletters, PSA development, etc. 6) promoting youth/college surveys and local and regional community substance abuse prevention surveys; and 7) working collaboratively with the Data Coordinator and other prevention team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; internet research skills; strong writing skills, public speaking experience, and marketing including familiarity with social media platforms. Drug prevention experience is preferred. Must have reliable transportation, insurance, valid TX D.L., and the ability to travel throughout the 19-county region. Bilingual a plus.
