Pueblo City-County Library District is conducting a search for a Genealogy and Local History Librarian. The Genealogy and Local History Librarian creates a positive library experience for customers by providing expert reference services and assistance with using materials and resources in the Local History and Genealogy Department. This position is responsible for the organization, care and access to the Western Research and Genealogy collections and for developing programs and providing reference services that promote these specialized collections.
The Genealogy and Local History Librarian reports to the Manager of the Local History and Genealogy department. The position works as a team member within the department, trains and works with volunteers and collaborates with staff throughout the Library District. The Librarian provides direct customer service and reference and instruction support for individuals and groups. The positions provides excellent customer service demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with people regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, ability level or background.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides reference and research assistance by helping customers locate materials, answer questions, place holds, complete forms, confer with other staff and make referrals to other organizations and agencies; instructs customers in the use of print and on-line materials, databases, equipment, and technologies. In conjunction with the department Manager, the Librarian leads collection development and selection of circulating and non-circulating materials for the Western Research and Genealogy collections. Plans and conducts outreach and educational programs for the public which promote the use of Local History and Genealogy Department materials to enhance awareness and highlight library materials. May conduct tours. Works with the department manager and archivist to develop and implement services to targeted communities; including but not limited to primary, secondary and post-secondary students, genealogy and history researchers, and cultural groups. Provides instruction to customers in the use of print, manuscript, and online materials, databases, equipment, and technologies. Provides reference assistance to library users and helps library patrons find resources. Performs community outreach to genealogy societies and other community groups. Works with the department manager to develop and implement relevant procedures based upon professional experience and best practices. Develops and maintains print and electronic indices, and guides. Assist department and library district staff in developing library/museum exhibits that highlight PCCLD collections. Initialize and contribute to special projects relating to local history and genealogy. May process archival collections. May collaborate with researchers on special projects related to local history. May write and publish significant findings on behalf of PCCLD. Researches questions using a variety of formats for information (print, microform, and electronic resources). Assists in training of other employees and volunteers for specific tasks. Works the Local History and Genealogy desks as scheduled; explains library regulations and procedures, and resolves basic patron complaints. This position will be assigned the role of Person in Charge (PIC) at the Rawlings Library on a regular basis to respond to any escalated customer service, emergency, or security issues and will work closely with the security officer on duty. Supports team efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by maintaining awareness of surroundings and working in accordance with safety policies and procedures. Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings. Attends All Staff Development Days and other training sessions to acquire new skills and to stay current on all information that is pertinent to PCCLD. Reads daily organizational communications from intranet, e-mail, newsletters and print announcements. Stays current on all library services, programs and events throughout the district. Regularly accesses electronic time keeping, payroll and personnel employee access systems. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross trains and provides back-up coverage for the Manager of Local History and Genealogy. May supervise and coordinate the work of others for special projects as assigned by the supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A Masters Degree in Library Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association and two (2) years of related work experience is required. Knowledge of local history and genealogy is preferred. Experience working in a public library setting is desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of local history and use of genealogical resources. Skill in synthesizing multiple data sources to analyze collection needs. Proven skills in project management. Knowledge of American Southwest history and Hispanic genealogy is preferred. Proficiency in the use of print and electronic reference tools and research techniques with a demonstrated passion for working with library customers on local history. Knowledge and experience utilizing best practices in archival preservation. Demonstrated creativity in developing programs. Ability to conduct complex reference interviews, to analyze requests and to apply research skills to locate specialized information or provide customers with alternative sources. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, age, race, sexual orientation and ability levels. Strong presentation and instruction skills. Hiring Salary: $55,000 annual; $2,155.38 bi-weekly
Salary Range: $52,765.96-$71,234.04

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a strategic fundraising advisor to the Executive Director and is responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships and opportunities that will advance the mission of St. Anthony Shrine. Planning Development: Develop plan with client/family to address immediate needs and plans to obtain services. If client is unwilling to seek services, make decisions regarding involuntary commitment based on dangerousness and ability to care for self.
Community Coordination: Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies in order to make referrals appropriately. See that clients gain access to the services they need, and do follow-up work as needed, to make certain that client's needs are being met.

Provides service coordination to assist families in accessing formal and informal supports and services; facilitating communication between the family, natural supports, community resources, and involved child-serving providers and agencies; participates in team meetings at which strengths and needs are identified and safety planning occurs; and provides for continuity of care by creating linkages to, and managing transitions between levels of care, and transitions of older youth to the adult service system.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation and documents services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements and maintains acceptable level of productivity for these requirements. Expectation is that employee will strive for 60% of work hours on average to be billable hours with a minimum of 50% billable hours on average each month.</li>
<li>Provides consultation, training, &amp; orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.</li>
<li>Develops a proactive safety/crisis plan; ensures intervention to meet safety needs of children.</li>
<li>Attends treatment reviews and discharge planning staffings at hospitals, residential centers and day treatment programs to develop discharge/transition plans for the return of the child to the community.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>

Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. Employee may be requested to work an extended or flexible schedule. Staff at this response level must complete Incident Command System 100 and 700 on-line or in-person training.
Requirements for the Position
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Mental Health Therapist 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Mental Health Therapist 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Mental Health Specialist 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Mental Health Specialist 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Mental Health Specialist 1. (One-year of work experience is equal to 2080 hours).

About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving (the "Director") is responsible for the design, strategy, and implementation of The Taft School annual fund program. The Director will join a highly collaborative team, working with key staff, campus-wide partners, and volunteers to implement a strategic annual fund program to maximize Taft community philanthropy.
This position will supervise the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, the Leadership Annual Gift Officer, the Annual Giving Coordinator, and will have the ability to hire one additional member of the team. The Director will have the opportunity to assess and set forth a plan of action for a group of 500+ Class Agents and will also work with a robust and exceptional Parents Committee.
Taft is seeking a Director who will think strategically and bring an analytic approach to the annual fund, with an ability to better integrate the fund into the overarching development program. The ideal candidate will have a respect and appreciation for independent school values, bring strength in leadership to guide the annual fund team and program, and have strong experience and interest in working with volunteers. This position will require 4 days per week in the office at Taft, with 1 day of remote flexibility possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategically develop, manage and implement the Taft School annual fund program
• Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email, and social media efforts 
• Lead and manage the annual fund team, including 3 current direct reports, with the opportunity to hire 1 additional staff member
• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, including alumni, parents, and community members
• Create and manage metrics to measure the effectiveness of annual strategies, working with the team to build and analyze donor lists and reports
• Determine annual giving goals and donor targets, informed by data and strategic planning
•Develop annual giving communications strategy in partnership with the communications team
• Partner with Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship regarding annual recognition efforts
• Contribute to the planning of relevant events, including donor receptions, alumni reunions, and volunteer appreciation events
• Develop and execute an effective and sustainable volunteer plan within annual giving, to engage Class Agents, the Parents Committee, and other volunteers.

Compensation:
